Stacking the Shelves [15]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I got tons of books this week.

Bought:
Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress #1) by Jeaniene Frost
One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress #2) by Jeaniene Frost
The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle #1) by Maggie Stiefvater

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky #1) by Veronica Rossi
Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi
Shadowlands (Shadowlands #1) by Kate Brian
Hemlock (Hemlock #1) by Kathleen Peacock

I love the Night Huntress series, and decided to start collecting them. I’ve read and loved The Raven Boys, including that beautiful painting cover.

As I’ve mentioned in my past Stacking the Shelves, Strandbooks will cause the death of me. Every single time I enter, I come back with a lot more books than what I was planning to buy. I brought Under the Never Sky, Through the Ever Night, Shadowlands, and Hemlock from Strandbooks, all for 50% off except for Under the Never Sky.

Borrowed:
Falling for You by Lisa Schroeder
Gravity (The Taking #1) by Melissa West

I can’t wait to start Falling for You, which is about an abusive boyfriend. The cover of Gravity also screams read me!

Won:
Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor #1) by Lisa Kleypas
Doomed by Tracy Deebs

I won a copy of Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (did I mention how much I love Lisa Kleypas’ books?!) from Thuy @ Nite Lite Book Reviews‘s Mid-Winter’s Eve Hop Giveaway. She also sent me some swag!

I also won a copy of Doomed by Tracy Deebs from Shane @ Itching for Books. She was holding a blog tour for Doomed, and I was lucky enough to be the second winner!

Thank you Thuy & Shane! (:

You’re a Lisa Kleypas fan?! Holy cow, I am too!!! (My fave would be Tempt Me at Twilight – love love love Harry Rutledge) -coughs- I hope you enjoy The Raven Boys despite the slow pace, but the ending is really, really “ASDIJAISOD” (if you would be so kind as to pardon my French). I’m on the lookout for Shadowlands. (I don’t remember when it’s coming out though. Tsk, tsk.) Happy, happy reading!
