Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read in 2013

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read in 2013.

Okay, this list should be really easy to decide on. There are tons of books I’ve been delaying to be read that I have to read asap.

So here’s my gorgeous list:

1. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
I read Delirium a long long time ago and liked it well enough. However, I couldn’t bring myself to read the sequel, Pandemonium, because people said that Lena quickly forgot about Alex for a new guy. Seriously?

2. Fated by Alyson Noel
I enjoyed The Immortals series when I read them about five years ago. Looking back now, I’ll pretty much hate reading it. However, I’ve had Fated since May when it first came out and I’m afraid to read it, to see if my opinion on Alyson Noel’s books really changed.

3. Echol by Alyson Noel
The sequel to Fated. Enough said.

4. Ashfall by Mike Mullin
I’ve heard so many things good about Ashfall and I can’t wait to try it, especially since it’s told from the male point of view. Only thing is I don’t have enough time to read it.

5. Partials by Dan Wells
I’ve had this book in my hands for nearly a year.

6. Hallowed by Cynthia Hand
I read Unearthly, thought it was okay, but couldn’t bring myself to read Hallowed. Hopefully I can next year.

7. Blood Red Road by Moira Young
This book is similar to The Hunger Games in a way, but I couldn’t bring myself to read it yet. Hopefully I can soon.

8. Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan
I’ve heard that the Immortal Beloved series is very unique from so many people but I just don’t have to time to try it.

9. Nevermore by Kelly Creagh
Many people love Nevermore and I hopefully will too, but I just don’t have the time to read it (notice how many times I said this LOL).

10. Immortal City by Scott Speer
Just look at that cover! And the summary of Immortal City is just a genius – angels being rockstars? Ugh, I really need to read this soon.

On an additional note, Happy New Year guys!

Your list is full of great titles! The most interesting are Partials and Pandemonium – even if they are not in my top 10 I’m definitely going to read them both this year! ^^

I hope you’ll have a great 2013 and get the chance to read all the books you featured!

What a great list! Pandemonium and Partials are good. I read Fated. I thought the first half was awful, but the second half was good. I have mixed feelings about it.

And the rest on this list I’m also dying to read. Happy New Years and happy reading!

Agreed, you’ve got great titles on your list! Pandemonium was not as satisfying as Delirium but for me that had nothing to do with the guy Lena meets.

Ashfall & Blood Red Road are high on my TBR list as well.

I want to read Immortal City, too. I didn’t include it on my list, but this one definitely caught my eye. Hope you enjoy all these books.

    Happy New Year :)

Blood Red Road; loved it and the second! And Pandemonium? I didn’t care for it for exactly the reason you list for not having read it. Partials is definitely interesting. Enjoy your reads this year!

Thanks for visiting my Top Ten.

Ashfall is AMAZING! Such a good apocalyptic novel. I also really enjoyed Partials and Blood Red Road. I should probably read Nevermore this year as well, since I’ve had it on my shelf for the longest time!

Good choices! I have Fated sat on my shelf waiting to read. I just need to finish The Immortals series first.

    Happy Reading! :)

Great list, I got a super cheap copy of Hallowed at a library book sale, but I need to read Unearthly first.
