Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Authors That I’d Put On My Auto-Buy List. This topic is surprisingly easy.
1. Julie Kagawa
Julie Kagawa’s writing is amazing, no doubt about that. I’m also glad she isn’t afraid to write books with sad tragic endings and massive violence.
2. Elizabeth Hoyt
Ever since I’ve read Elizabeth Hoyt’s The Raven Prince, I was in love with her historical romances. The breathtaking covers is a major bonus.
3. Dan Wells
Partials just amazed me. How could any author write such a thick book without boring me to death? I can’t wait to read Fragments!
4. Jeaniene Frost
I love the Night Huntress series, especially since it features Cat & Bones!
5. Julie James
Julie James’ books are just plain awesome. They’re sassy, fun, hilarious, and talks about the FBI. Where else can you get that? I would buy any of her books as soon as they are released.
6. Tara A. Fuller
I wasn’t expecting to like Inbetween when I read it, but it completely amazed me. It’s safe to say that I would read and buy every book written by Tara.
7. Katie McGarry
Pushing the Limits was so good. I laughed, I cried, and I smiled. Kate McGarry sure knows how to write! I absolutely can’t wait to read Dare You To.
8. Rachel Hawkins
Rachel Hawkins wrote the fabulous Sophie and the amusing Archer. I can’t wait to read – and buy – more of her books!
9. Jennifer Rush
Altered completely amazed me, making Jennifer Rush on my auto-buy list.
10. Jennifer Echols
I love Jennifer Echols’ books! They are antsy, fun, and deep, all at the same time. Every time I see her books on the shelves, I snag them right away.
And if you read through all that, great! Now I want to know, which book authors are on your auto-buy list?
Great list!! I forgot Julia Kagawa, how could I forget her, I loved her Iron Fey series.
Jennfier Echols was the first author that wrote a contemp book that I loved.
P.S I am loving your new blog design :).

P.S. Awesome new blog design. I was like, ‘whoa this is cool.’ =D
Ohh, pick up Altered asap! I wasn’t convinced either before I read it, but after I actually snagged a copy and read it, I was like OMG HOW CAN I NOT READ THIS BEFORE?
And thank you Sana! :D It better be since it took so long to code it + photoshop the images! ;D
Hmm, now that I think about it, Jennifer Echols IS one of my favorite contemporary authors and I dislike most of the contemporary books I’ve read in general except for a select few.
And thank you Kimberly! (:
Great List! I especially agree with 7 – 8 :)
