Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Books At The Top Of My Spring TBR List.
I don’t know if it means books that are coming out soon or books that already came out. I’ll do a mixture of both I guess.
So here’s my list:
1. Fragments by Dan Wells
I read Partials and it was amazing. I can’t wait to see what would happen next. Thank goodness I have a borrowed copy of Fragments with me to find out.
2. Vortex by Julie Cross
I feel like I’m one of the few rare ones that actually enjoyed reading Tempest and wasn’t bored by it. I can’t wait to start Vortex and find out what happened to Jackson and Holly.
3. Renegade by J.A. Souders
I bought this book so long ago. I think it’s about time I read it.
4. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
With Clockwork Angel coming out next next week, I have to read this series asap.
5. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
Same as above..
6. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
I love the cover. I have to immediately start Clockwork Angel asap.
7. Immortal City by Scott Speer
I love this cover! Why did they have to change it? Anyway, I love the concept of Immortal City and can’t wait to finally check it out.
8. Natural Born Angel by Scott Speer
The sequel to Immortal City that is being released in April.
9. Just One Day by Gayle Forman
I’ve heard so many great things about Gayle Forman’s books. I’ve read only the first chapter of If I Stay and wasn’t that interested. Hopefully Gayle Forman’s books are worth the hype in the end when I finally try one of her books, Just One Day.
10. Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor
Just look at that cover! I also enjoyed reading Daughter of Smoke & Bone and Days of Blood & Starlight is a really thick book, which I like.
What are your top TBR books to read this spring?
Just One Day is nothing like If I Stay in the best possible way (you know how I feel about If I Stay). Seriously, Just One Day is one of my favorites ever. And I’m with you on Days of Blood & Starlight and Fragments :) On my list as well!
I really have to start reading some of Cassandra Clare’s books soon. Then I need to get my hands on Days of Blood & Starlight… I’m number 2 on the hold list at the library!
Of course then I’m number 22 on the hold list for Partials… You win some, you lose some. At least I have one less book series to fawn over… for now.
I hope you finish all of your Spring TBR pile selections, knowing you it shouldn’t take too long! :D
I really liked Tempest, and Vortex was awesome too! I feel like I should have reread Tempest before reading Vortex, though. There was just so much going on!
I’m also excited to read Fragments. And Renegade! I’ve heard amaaazing things about it!
Agreed the cover for Days of Blood & Starlight is beautiful! I don’t know if I am ever going to read the Infernal Devices, because I didn’t really like the Mortal Instruments series.

I need to read Just One Day asap especially since the author is coming to a signing next week! :x
Hopefully it’s as good as you say Debby! :D
Thanks Roxanne! ;D
And Partials can take it’s time to come, after all Days of Blood & Starlight is such a long book!
Yeah. I have mixed feelings about the Mortal Instruments series, first book was pretty good, and then it got worse from there. :l
But I heard the Infernal Devices was really different and I’m eager to see what the epic love triangle is about so. o:
I know, I was thinking about rereading Tempest too because I forgot the gist of it (read it last year when it was released in January) and there was just so many characters to remember! And the plot, I only remembered the middle LOL.
It really is but I think it’s the kind of book I’ll read until I pass out the continue reading the second I wake up. I guess I could just work on my other library books. :)
I have soo many library books to read. Dx
Good luck on yours! (:
Yes, great list! I also have yet to read The Infernal Devices series and I totally forgot all about Just One Day somehow. Immortal City is on my to-read list as well.
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday post!

I’m reading Just One Day right now, and it’s pretty good so far! I think you’ll enjoy it. :D
Ugh, it sucks when you never got the book promised to you from a giveaway. D:
I’m a bit iffy about Cassandra Clare’s books for so many reasons.
And isn’t the cover of Days of Blood & Starlight just gorgeous? :D?
Thanks! I’m working my way through them slowly.
