Waiting On Wednesday [24]

WAITING ON WEDNESDAY is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

This week, I can’t wait for a sequel that I need right now.

Just One Year
Author: Gayle Forman
Series: Just One Day #2
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Publisher: Dutton Children’s
Release Date: October 15
Summary:

“Can you fall in love in just one day? Can you become a new person? How about in just one year? In Just One Day and its companion novel Just One Year, sheltered American good girl Allyson “LuLu” Healey and easygoing actor Willem De Ruiter are about to find out against a guidebook-worthy array of foreign backdrops. Equal parts romance, coming-of-age-tale, mystery and travel romp (with settings that span from England’s Stratford upon Avon to Paris to Amsterdam to India’s Bollywood) Just One Day and Just One Year show how in looking for someone else, you just might wind up finding yourself.”

Okay, so that isn’t much of a synopsis. However, the end of Just One Day just made me want to read Just One Year asap to learn about Willem’s true intentions. What is he really about? Will he and Allyson ever get together? Who was that girl? I need some answers!
Also, that cover. (I’m going to ignore the fact that Willem is supposed to be blond.) It’s so…lovely.

What book are you looking forward to reading this week?

YES to this. I’m dying to hear Willem’s story. I’m thinking partial amnesia. Well, the cover reveal also revealed the first few pages of the book, so I kind of know that. I know he’s for real in love with Allyson, he just forgot :( but there will be a happy ending asdfjkl; if not…. this book will kill me.

I’m not completely sure if he has partial amnesia, although it would explain a lot. Gayle Forman needs to stop teasing us and release this book asap!

Yeah, I changed my blog name because some people consider “damn” a curse word and I read an article recommending people not to have those kind of words in their domain. o:
I know, isn’t GFC on WordPress awesome? ;D The link teaching you how to do it is here.
And thank you Carmen! :D I love the design too!
Now the book talk – I need to know all those things too! I don’t want to hate Willem so I need an explanation from him. Hopefully we might snag an ARC or it’ll be on NetGalley! (:

I have Just One Day tucked in my electronic library right now and I’m getting ready to dive into it. I loved her If I Stay duology so I’m feeling pretty confident that I’ll like this one too. Nice pick, Kelly :D
