Monthly To Read List: May 2013

I was browsing Nancy @ Tumbling Books‘s awesome blog when I stumbled upon her Monthly To Read List post and was like whoa! Why didn’t I think of doing that before, instead of spending two to three hours trying to decide what books I should read next?

Here are the list of books I plan to read in May in no particular order:

cure storm immortal nat happy dark unbreakable 5thwave rise poison prodigy unravelme

1. The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa
2. Storm by Brigid Kemmerer
3. Immortal City by Scott Speer
4. Natural Born Angel by Scott Speer
5. This Is What Happy Looks LIke by Jennifer E. Smith
6. The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe
7. Unbreakable by Elizabeth Norris
8. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
9. Rise by Anna Carey
10. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder
11. Prodigy by Marie Lu
12. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

Usually, I read more than 12 books per month, but I want to leave some space open in case I get my hands on a book I want to read asap.

And thank you Nancy for letting me use your awesome idea! ;D

Great reading list :D. I read Storm a while ago and thought it was decent, but not amazing like the hype told it to be. Which is sad, because it had a good premise. Hope you like it better then me.
    Happy May Reading.

I finished rereading Spark and am amazed at how well-written the story was. I hope you enjoy them all. Especially Storm and Unravel me. There were bits about Warner that made me melt.

And Unraveling is AWESOME. When you’re done, you should definitely check out Unbreakable. I just finished it yesterday and man, the feels!

Poison Study is one of my favorite YA fantasy books! I’m excited to see that you’ll be reading it! I’ve been hearing such great things about The 5th Wave, and I hope to get my hands on a copy of The Eternity Cure soon. Hope you enjoy all of these!

I’m currently reading The 5th Wave now and I’m having some mixed feelings about it. Not sure what to think yet. :l
I hope you get your hands on a copy of The Eternity Cure too! I heard that it’s as good as, or even better than The Immortal Rules! :D

You should definitely read The Immortal Rules; it’s the best vampire series out there in my opinion. It’s action packed, bloody, and full of mystery and suspense.
Definitely try out the Unraveling series Micheline! Seriously, it’s one of my most favorite series ever. It’s a combination of Veronica Mars, X-Files, and the Alias, maybe even Fringe! :D
      Thank you! (:

I’m currently reading The 5th Wave and it’s sadly not as good as I wanted it to be. I’m only at about 35% though, so maybe it can change.

I’ve getting more and more excited about The 5th Wave. I seriously have not seen a single bad review.

Ooh, Prodigy. There are a few holds on Legend at my library, but once a copy finally become available it’s alllll mine.

I can’t wait to read Storm! The summary alone makes me want to drool…
I’m currently reading The 5th Wave right now. I’m not really impressed with it, but I also don’t hate it either. I’m only at 35%, so who knows what will happen?
I’ve read Legend and was sadly not that impressed with it; it was like any other dystopian novel out there with the evil government, conspiracies, blah blah blah. I’ve heard Prodigy was better though!
Hopefully you’ll enjoy Legend more than I did Leah! (:
