Stacking the Shelves [32]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I bought too many books this week.

Bought:
Tidal (Watersong #3) by Amanda Hocking
Goddess (Starcrossed #3) by Josephine Angelini
Thousand Words by Jennifer Brown
Golden by Jessi Kirby
Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer
Reboot (Reboot #1) by Amy Tintera
Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin #2) by R.L. LaFevers

IMG_0014I bought Tidal, Goddess, Thousand Words, Smart Girls Get What They Want, and Dark Triumph all for 50% off in Strandbooks.
Barnes and Noble gave me a 15% off coupon, which I used to buy Golden with since I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.

That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?

I know, the spine alone made me buy it! It also helped that I’ve heard nothing but raving reviews for it. :D

I’ve been seeing a lot of rave reviews for Golden and really want to check it out. You got some great discounts at Strand! I keep spotting Dark Triumph at the library, but it would be nice if I first read the copy of Grave Mercy that I’ve owned for almost a year, lol. I hope you enjoy reading all of these!

That’s why I bought Golden, I saw tons of raving reviews on it and wanted to see if I’ll enjoy it too.
I don’t know why I bought Dark Triumph, I never read Grave Mercy either even though I bought it a longgg time ago. It’s been sitting on my shelf collecting dust for so long.
Thanks for stopping by my STS Lee! (:

Ooo, I love the spine of Golden! I’ve had an eARC of Golden for months, but I still haven’t read it. And Goddess is really large! I didn’t expect it to be so long. But last books in the series are usually pretty long. Is that Dark Triumph at the bottom? I know you’ll love it. I got my copy a few weeks ago :D

Hope you enjoy all of these books!

    Check out my STS post!

I love the spine of Golden too! The design and color looks so perfect together.
Goddess is not that large, Starcrossed and Dreamless are thicker.
And yeah that’s Dark Triumph on the bottom. I still have to read Grave Mercy and hopefully I’ll love them both! :D

Ooooh Tidal. Pretty sure Michelle’s looking forward to that. I wasn’t a big fan of Wake but I think I’ll be continuing the series. Mainly because of Daniel and Harper. Too cute. I’m excited to get started on my copy of Dark Triumph too. Enjoy your lovelies Kelly! Happy reading!

There’s no such thing as to many books, All there is, is just not enough space and not nearly enough time.
I didn’t know Tidal was out, Is that the last in that series? I think it is. Anyway, I really want to start that series, because I love Amanda Hocking to bits.
*sigh* Dark Triumph, how I need to buy that one. I really can’t wait to read this one!!

Tidal is actually not the last book in the series, there’s one book after that called Elegy or something like that.
Tidal is also technically not out yet, the bookstore I go to just sometimes releases books early.

Ooh, I’m jealous that you got Golden and Thousand Words! I pre-ordered them, but, note to self: Don’t pre-order things too early/with other books that come out after the ones you really want are released. Not a fan of the waiting game!

Also, I really enjoyed Smart Girls Get What They Want. I hope you do, too. Happy reading!

Kelly, I cannot express how much I love Golden. In fact, if I get a book to review as an e-book, I typically don’t run right out and buy it. I reviewed Golden a month or so ago and as soon as it hits stores- I’m buying my own copy to read over and over. I am also needing Dark Triumph and I definitely need to start the Starcrossed series!

    Happy reading!!!
