Stacking the Shelves [34]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I bought too many books this week. ):

Bought:
It Happened One Autumn (Wallflowers #2) by Lisa Kleypas
Devil in Winter (Wallflowers #3) by Lisa Kleypas
Darkfever (Fever #1) by Karen Marie Moning
Bloodfever (Fever #2) by Karen Marie Moning
Faefever (Fever #3) by Karen Marie Moning
Dreamfever (Fever #4) by Karen Marie Moning
Shadowfever (Fever #5) by Karen Marie Moning
Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy #5) by Richelle Mead
Fire (Graceling Realm #2) by Kristin Cashore
Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1) by Sarah J. Maas

IMG_0075 IMG_0077 Icons (Icons #1) by Margaret Stohl
Game (Jasper Dent #2) by Barry Lyga
Just One Day (Just One Day #1) by Gayle Forman

Monster haul right?
I bought my favorite two books in the Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas and the entire Fever series by Karen Marie Moning.
Barnes & Noble sent me a 15% off coupon, which I used on Spirit Bound. (I was supposed to buy the fourth book in the Vampire Academy series though.) I got Fire and Throne of Glass for 50% in Strandbooks.
I also went to a book signing this week where you can read about here, along with a signed Icons giveaway.

Borrowed:
The Ward (The Ward #1) by Jordana Frankel
Bitter End by Jennifer Brown
Drowning Instinct by Ilsa J. Bick
If I Should Die by Amy Plum

IMG_0073I’m excited to read Drowning Instinct, especially when I saw all those good reviews for it. And Bitter End! I’ve heard excellent things about it.

That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?

Wow, that is an insane number of books! I actually bought Spirit Bound this week as well, because it was on sale on Amazon. I’d never heard of Drowning Instinct, but I just read the blurb on Goodreads and it sounds amazing! Happy reading :)

The blurb of Drowning Instinct definitely sounds amazing; that’s one of the reasons why I checked it out!

Kelley, awesome haul. I hope you really enjoy your books. You should come to the June 8th Signing that Elizabeth Norris is having in Larchmont at Anderson books. Signed books are awesome.

I love a lady who has no restraint! It’s what makes us book addicts such a joy to be around! GREAT haul. I loved Throne of Glass. Hope you do to. And book signings are just so cool. Lucky you. New follower by the way, via, Bloglovin.

Huge haul!! Awesome that you got all the Fever books ^^ The series really picks up a lot (and Mac changes a lot) from book 3 onwards! I just borrowed book 5 from my BFF today :)
I’ve got Barry Lyga’s first book on the pile on my bedside table and hope to get to it soon! I also enjoyed Throne of Glass, though Cealena takes some getting used to. I’m also curious to hear what you think of The Ward. I love the concept but most of the reviews I’ve read were a bit lukewarm about it.
Congrats again on your signed books :) Happy reading, Kelly!

I just finished Bloodfever yesterday and yeah, it definitely picks up a lot!
Definitely check out Barry Lyga’s I Hunt Killers, it is AMAZING. You actually get to go into the minds of a serial killer. :D
Yeah, I’ve heard many mixed reviews on The Ward, but the cover! It just screams READ ME.
      Thanks Carmen! (:
