Guys, I have a really bad book habit when I read a book.
I peek at the ending. Like, the last three or so pages. Or maybe even the last five pages if I don’t see the answers I want.
I just can’t help it. I have to know if the guy and girl will ever get together, if that certain person betrayed the main character, who dies, and maybe, if I’m lucky, I can find out who the murderer was.
Out of every twenty books I’ve read, I’ve peeked at at least eighteen endings. Oh boy.
This bad book habit of mine definitely ruined tons of books for me. The endings fail to surprise me because I peeked and this bad book habit of mine basically ruins my overall enjoyment of the book. It is so hard to stop doing this though. I just don’t have the self control to stop.
What are your “bad” book habits that causes you to enjoy a book less?
