Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
I bought so many books this week because of Amazon. (Why Amazon, why?!)
Bought:
Burn for Burn (Burn for Burn #1) by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian
Identical by Ellen Hopkins
Divergent (Divergent #1) by Veronica Roth
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger
A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire #1) by George R.R. Martin
A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire #2) by George R.R. Martin
A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire #3) by George R.R. Martin
A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire #4) by George R.R. Martin
The School for Good and Evil (The School for Good and Evil #1) by Soman Chainani
Fire with Fire (Burn for Burn #2) by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian
Fire with Fire (Burn for Burn #2) by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (Between #1) by April Genevieve Tucholke
Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah Maas
How My Summer Went Up In Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski
Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Echols
I got so many books this week and I blame this on Amazon.
Amazon had Divergent up for $4, The Duff for $4, and the entire A Song of Ice and Fire box set for $13.31, which is definitely a total steal.
The second row of pictures are all the books I bought from Strandbooks, which sells them all for 50% off. When I saw Crown of Midnight and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, I couldn’t believe my eyes and immediately bothered the cashier for it. I didn’t make any new friends, but hey, I got the books I wanted! :P
In My Mailbox:
Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn
I traded with Wendy from The Midnight Garden and got this! I’ve heard so many good things about this one so -crosses fingers-.
That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?
Amazon is seriously off limits for me, it’s DANGEROUS. But wonderful at the same time. xD Just last night I was looking at the A Song of Ice and Fire box set (it’s like $19 now, but still) and I was so close to getting it but I already have about a million books to read (a lot of which you got!) so I somehow managed some self control. I keep seeing people fangirling over Fire with Fire so Burn for Burn is at the top of my TBR list. Enjoy your books and happy reading! (:

I sadly don’t have any self control when it comes to Amazon. All I see and think is SO CHEAP! MUST GET! :P
That’s the reason why I bought two copies of Fire with Fire – everybody was fangirling over it. I hope it’s as good as they say it is!

Kelly,
You got so many books. I’m waiting till all of the Game of Thrones books are released so I can buy a box set. Amazon is dangerous. I hope you love your new books as well.

I couldn’t resist the box set deal, so I bought all four books instead of waiting for the entire series to be released.
I agree, Amazon is VERY dangerous.

OMG!!! x5 I think someone should block you from getting into Amazon. :D I consider myself lucky for not hanging out in Amazon these past few days and ignoring their newsletter in my mail. Otherwise I would have also gone into book buying frenzy.
With your haul, I am yet again reminded of Games of Thrones. I don’t know if I’ll ever get the courage to read the whole series.
Excellent haul, Kelly!

But, but, Amazon’s books are SO cheap! Like, preorders are $11 and regular books are $13.28 (I think).
I’ve never read any of the books in the Game of Thrones series. I hope it’s as good as people say!

Amazon is ruining my life lately.
YESSSSSSSSS to Burn for Burn! When are you planning on starting A Game of Thrones? I looove those books. Kody Keplinger is also an AMAZING author, and I really enjoyed My Life Next Door.
I didn’t realise how huge Fire with Fire was, since I read an e-ARC of it. WHAT EVEN. So much tasty goodness.
SO MANY BOOKS.

-sigh- I should have stayed away from Amazon to begin with.
I don’t know when I’ll start A Game of Thrones, it depends on my reading schedule, which is NOT looking good at the moment.
I LOVEEE My Life Next Door. It is SO good.
I saw a physical ARC of Fire with Fire and was shocked about how HUGE it was. It’s like HUGEE.
I know! -drools and pets them all lovingly-

I barley go on Amazon unless I have a lot of money, because it sucks you in with all these great deals for books and I end up buying like 8 of them.
How did Strandbooks have finished copies of Crown of Midnight and Between the Devil!?!?!?!! HOW!!! Did they release early?
Wow, the School for good and evil is HUGE! I need to look that one up.
Hope you like all of your books Kelly :D
