Top Ten Favorite Books With A School Setting

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Top Ten Favorite Books With X Setting. I decided to do Top Ten Favorite Books With A School Setting.

So here’s my list in no particular order:

thissongwillsaveyourlife everneath dareyouto

1. This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
This book basically mostly revolves around a school setting and what comes with it: bullying.

2. Everneath by Brodi Ashton
Nikki’s return to school was painful for me to read. I didn’t want her to suffer. ):

3. Dare You To by Katie McGarry
The school scenes in Dare You To was awesome. It contains Beth, Ryan, and snarky comebacks.

anna unraveling perfectchemistry

4. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
School in Paris! Lucky you Anna!

5. Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris
That classroom scene between Janelle and Ben was hot. -fans self-

6. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
The whole thing started with a chemistry project…
In school. ;D

hexhall limits outofsightoutoftime

7. Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
Sophie met the awesome Archer outside the school. Which still counts right?

8. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
Lots of school setting in this one.

9. Out of Sight, Out of Time by Ally Carter
Spy school! What else can top that?

vamp10. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Vampire Academy is obviously a book set in a school setting. I mean, a huge majority of the book is in a school setting with teachers, classes, and hot instructors/Guardians. ;D

And now, I want to know, what are your top ten favorite beginnings/endings in books?

Great list. School settings seems to be a popular choice this week. I really need to read Anna and The French Kiss. I have Perfect Chemistry on my Kindle ready to read.

Great list Kelly :D. I was going to go with the school setting with my list, but than I realized I haven’t read a lot of books that are mainly in schools. So, decided against doing that.
I really need to read This Song soon. It looks great and I’ve heard some amazing reviews on it, (besides yours)
I wasn’t a fan of Perfect Chemistry. I have no idea why, I just wasn’t. I liked it, but I just wasn’t blown away by it.

Have you read Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld? That would be great on a list like this.
