Blogoversary Day 3: Judge A Book By Its Signature

blog3

I can’t believe it’s day three of my blogoversary celebration already! I hope you enjoyed the last two days, learning more about my blog and doing the Cover Guessing Game. ;D

Today we are doing a familiar feature on my blog, Judge A Book By Its Signature.

judgeabook

I don’t know about you, but my signature is downright ugly. And lame. Let’s not forget lame. Every time I sign my name on something, whether it be a receipt or a new credit card, I wince inside. I don’t know how people come up with such awesome pretty signatures. I’m totally out of the loop with that.

One day, after getting multiple books signed, I thought what if instead of judging a book by its cover, you judge the book by the author’s signature? Will the author’s signature attract you to the book? Will you still buy the book then?

This week, I’m featuring Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi.

cover

I love, love, love the cover of Unravel Me. It is absolutely gorgeous. I love the shades of blue, the icey snowflake eyelashes, the white-blueish clouds, the icicle tears, the blue eye; basically I love everything about the cover. I can just stare at it all day. I love the font colors too; the shades of white, pink, and gray is just so pretty!

coveralone

Yes. In fact, I already did! :D<3

signature

I love Tahereh Mafi’s signature. It’s so curly and pretty and tall. I also love the heart picture she added along with her signature. Sometimes, a heart along with someone’s signature may look ultra cheesy, but used with Tahereh Mafi’s signature, it looks just right. Tahereh Mafi’s signature is also so girly, which I wish my signature is.

signaturealone

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!

Will you buy Unravel Me based on the author’s signature alone?

*All pictures are mine unless otherwise stated.

I LOOOOVE her signature! Hers is my absolute favorite signature of an author, ever. I am DYING to get my hands on a ‘defaced’ copy (when she writes all over the hardcover) because they are gorgeous! I want books signed by her so freaking bad! Unfortunately, she’s effing IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of, so unless I actually meet her in person, there’s no way I’ll ever get a defaced copy. =/
Thanks for the giveaway, too! <3

This may be my favorite signature so far! I love how she wasn’t afraid to make it big and cursive. Congrats again on your blogoversary.

Happy Blogoversary! I have wanted to own this book F-O-R-E-V-E-R! I need it so badly. It would be the best birthday present I have ever received (it was September 24) I fell in love with the Shatter Me series and love Warner. Tahereh sounds like a wonderful, funny person. I really hope they turn these books into a movie. But I hope they don’t ruin it. I literally have a countdown clock for Ignite Me. I will have to barricade myself away when it finally comes out. Then I might cry because it’s the last book. Thank you so much for this giveaway. It’s the best one!

P.S. I really like her signature too. It’s beautiful.

    Happy Blogoversary, Kelly!! :D

I love her signature! It’s really big, but I’ve never really liked authors who signed really tiny. And the heart matches so well. :o I need a pretty signature (for what, I don’t know yet). Seriously.

I would love to get my hands on IGNITE ME, and have loved this series since it first came out. I’ve read and reviewed the first two books, and I’m excited to see what Tahereh writes next. I’ve got a few giveaways on my own blog going. Some with zero entries, so if anyone sees this and hops over to enter, they’ll win for sure. Thanks for the opportunity! You always have amazing giveaways, reviews and posts. Love it!

I loved Shatter Me. & would love to finish off the story. Her signature is cool. I have a hyphenated last name that I’m still getting used to after 5 years of marriage. wish it looked cool.

I can’t wait for me Ignite Me. I like her signature. Having a signed book makes it so much more special. Knowing the author took the time to sign a book for a fan.

I LOVE THE COVER OF IGNITE ME.
Have you guys read the snippet? It was beautiful :”> As always.
Team Warner guys! I bet money on that!

    He’s on his knees.
And we are quotation marks, inverted and upside down, clinging to one another at the end of this life sentence.
“No,” Warner says calmly. “I am not going to kill you.”
