First thing’s first: Cee from The Novel Hermit is beyond awesome. You’ll see why, just keep on reading.
So how Judge A Book By Its Signature was invented is this: I don’t know about you, but my signature is downright ugly. And lame. Let’s not forget lame. Every time I sign my name on something, whether it be a receipt or a new credit card, I wince inside. I don’t know how people come up with such awesome pretty signatures. I’m totally out of the loop with that.
One day, after getting multiple books signed, I thought what if instead of judging a book by its cover, you judge the book by the author’s signature? Will the author’s signature attract you to the book? Will you still buy the book then?
This week, I’m featuring a lot of books.
Let me explain.
When Cee mentioned on Twitter that she was planning on seeing a bunch of awesome authors (I mean, it’s Kasie West, Marissa Meyer, AND Rainbow Rowell!!!), I completely freaked out because they never come to NYC. Okay, let me correct myself, they did come to NYC, but I was too busy for whatever reason to see them or they never came to NYC the first place. I then asked Cee if she minds getting a bunch of books signed for me if I paid for shipping. She agreed, I paid too much for shipping, so she also got a signed copy of Cinder for me.
Without further ado, here are all the beautiful signed books:
Let’s start with Kasie West’s books, The Distance Between Us and Pivot Point.
Now for Rainbow Rowell’s books: Fangirl and Eleanor & Park.
Last but not least, it’s time for Marissa Meyer’s book, Cinder.
So yeah, that’s all the awesome books Cee got signed for me! (They must have been very heavy.) Thank you so much for getting all of them signed for me Cee! <3<3<3
Will you buy any of these books based on the author's signature alone? What do you think of them all?
Oh wow, signed books are the best and I’d love to have a signed Cinder <3 From all the books, I think I'd buy that book based on the signature.

AWW YEEAHHHH. I’m glad you received the books (after a lot of delay)!
After going to various events last month, I realized that I like my books personalized because of the messages the author writes. I probably wouldn’t buy the book based on the signature in these cases, but based on the author? ABSOLUTELY YES. They were so awesome!
I know right! -fist pump-
Ha ha, you don’t have to get a book personalized to get the messages the author writes. You can politely ask them to write the tagline, if you know they write a tagline for the book the first place. :P
And good point! ;D
But then again, I’m in love with signatures. <3
