Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get My Hands On

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get My Hands On.

So here’s my list in no particular order:

evertrue splitsecond erased

1. Evertrue by Brodi Ashton
With that cliffhanger Everbound left us with, I need Evertrue asap. I need to know how it ends.

2. Split Second by Kasie West
Pivot Point‘s cliffhanger ending nearly killed me. I can’t wait to get my hands on Split Second.

3. Erased by Jennifer Rush
Jennifer Rush captured my heart with her debut, Altered. I can’t wait to see what happens next in her series.

igniteme cress toxicheart

4. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
That cover. Enough said. (Let’s ignore the fact that I haven’t read Unravel Me yet.)

5. Cress by Marissa Meyer
I bet I’m not the only one who is dying to get their hands on this one. ;D

6. Toxic Heart by Theo Lawrence
Mystic City was amazing and I love Theo Lawrence’s version of future NYC. I need to know what happens next.

dreamsofgodsandmonsters thelovelyandthelost islaandthehappilyeverafter

7. Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor
I need to know how the war between the demons and the angels will end. I want a happy ending!

8. The Lovely and the Lost by Page Morgan
The Beautiful and the Cursed definitely left me wanting more. The cover of The Lovely and the Lost is also pretty lovely. :D<3 9. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
I’ve been waiting for this one for years. Hopefully Isla and the Happily Ever After is worth the long wait!

re10. The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
With that cliffhanger ending The Evolution of Mara Dyer left us with, it’s a no brainer that I desperately want to get my hands on The Retribution of Mara Dyer. I need to know how the series will end!

And now, I want to know, what are your top ten sequels you can’t wait to get your hands on?

Split Second! Every time I see the cover, I am hit with the Pivot Point ending feels. “Don’t forget me” and then I want to cry for poor Trevor and our

Likewise on the need to know for Dreams of Gods and Monsters – I’m hoping for a happily ever after, but I’m also kind of not, because this series is so EPIC – I don’t want it to fade into obscurity. I want it to beat me up with how different and good it was, just like books 1 and 2 did.

So excited for Isla! I don’t usually pine for upcoming contemporaries, but this is an exception.

YES. THAT ENDING. -proceed the crying and sad fangirling-
Yeah, I agree, as long as the ending doesn’t torture us. Or do anything CLOSE to that because I want Karou and Akiva to be happy together.
Agreed! I’ve been waiting for Isla for so long already!

I’ve heard so much about the Mara Dyer series – are they that good? I’ve never even read the synopsis of the first book!

Yay! I’m not the only one that hasn’t read Unravel Me yet then. :D
Umm, the first Mara Dyer book was HORRIBLE, but the second one definitely redeems the series. It depends if you’re willing to risk trying a series you may not like the beginning of. o:

I haven’t considered ten sequels I’m looking forward to getting my hands on, but I’ll see which one’s come at the top of my head now: The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead (I’ve been waiting for this one after reading The Indigo Spell!), Horizon by Alyson Noel (I’m wondering how the series will end with this last installment), The Offering by Kimberly Derting (I still haven’t read The Essence but I think I could binge read the rest of the series), Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd (I can’t stop thinking about that ending in TMD), Revealed by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast (It already came out but I don’t have it yet), Allegiant by Veronica Roth (Still need this one too! So behind!), Reborn by C.C. Hunter (technically it isn’t a sequel but it’s a spin-off from the first series), Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi (I haven’t read the first two books yet but I’m thinking I can binge read this one too), I’m between Brodi Ashton’s and Michelle Hodkin’s series (I haven’t read either but I want to binge read both!), and The Edge of Always by J.A. Redmerski (I loved LOVED the first book! I need the sequel asap!). Okay, it wasn’t that hard. I’m surprised that I had a list :p
