Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
I’m feeling so proud of myself – I resisted buying an extra book this week!
Bought:
Racing Savannah (Hundred Oaks #4) by Miranda Kenneally
Rebel Spring (Falling Kingdoms #2) by Morgan Rhodes & Michelle Rowen
The Calling (Darkest Rising #2) by Kelley Armstrong
Mystic City (Mystic City #1) by Theo Lawrence
The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
Croak Croak (Croak #1) by Gina Damico
The Nightmare Affair (The Arkwell Academy #1) by Mindy Arnett
I feel so proud of myself this week! Believe it or not, I was planning to buy one more book, but I managed to stop myself from doing so. Hopefully I can keep up this not-really book ban.
And I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking but what about those other 5+ books you bought this week Kelly? Well, here’s the thing, I bought 5 of the not released in December books before my book ban. And the December released books were preorders. :P
That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?
Nice haul Kelly. I bought Rebel Spring even though I had an ARC of it, I wanted a finished copy of it. You got some amazing books. Come visit me as well.

I’m proud of you and at the same time incredibly sad for those books that didn’t get taken home. Haha, book problems!

Mystic City has such a pretty cover! That’s a definite plus to getting a book in print. I hope you like Croak. I don’t see many people reading it. It’s a really funny read–but it had a slight and surprising darkness to it. Enjoy your new books!
I’m the opposite of you this week. I bought a bunch more books than usual.

Super haul. I loved Mystic City, probably the surprise book of the year for me. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on it.
Happy reading :)

Loved Mystic City, btw. I bought the Goldfinch because it was on sale ($2.99 ebook) and I have been wanting to read it. I also downloaded The Winter Freakshow, it was on of those first book freebies and the story sounded interesting. Wrede on Writing was another book on sale ($4.99 ebook), I have been looking forward to reading, that made its way onto my Kindle this week. :)
Great books! I just finished reading Rebel Spring–interested to see your thoughts on it. I’ve not read Mystic City but I love that cover. I’ll have to look it up. Happy reading!

Awesome haul! I LOVE Croak!! It’s so funny :D I really need to buy the last book in the trilogy…
The cover for Mystic City is so beautiful! I remember wanting to buy it when it came out but somehow I just forgot because there are so many great books coming out all the time.
Anyway, enjoy the spoils of your pre-book-ban shopping ;)
