Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR.

So here’s my list in no particular order:

grave graceling fangirl

1. Grave Mercy by R.L. LaFevers
I’ve read this one a very, very long time ago and I think I DNF’d it. Not sure. But yeah, I want to read it again.

2. Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Like Grave Mercy, I’ve read this a long time ago, and barely remember anything, just that I love it. I want to re-read it again to see what exactly I loved about it. (I remember a certain guy named Po was in the book? ;D)

3. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
It’s about time I read this one. Thank goodness finals are almost here so I can get them over with, then focus completely on reading.

words sideeffectsmayvary attachments

4. Thousand Words by Jennifer Brown
I’ve been meaning to read this ever since my last TBR list I made for my Top Ten Tuesday, but never had the chance to. I need to read this one soon!

5. Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy
I can’t believe I was lucky enough to win an ARC of this. It sounds so good and I can’t wait to start it.

6. Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
This book idea sounds SO cute! I need this in my life now!

poisonprincess whitehotkiss lettheskyfall

7. Poison Princess by Kresley Cole
Poison Princess was also in my last TBR list for a Top Ten Tuesday. I definitely need to read this one!

8. White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’ve got an ARC of this and am curious. I didn’t like Jennifer L. Armentrout’s other two series, but hopefully I’ll like this one.

9. Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger
That brilliant color, why did they have to get rid of the orange for the paperback cover?! It is just so WRONG. But that has gotten me curious enough to read the book.

tandem10. Tandem by Anna Jarzab
I’ve had this on my TBR list for the longest time and it’s about time I finally read it, especially since it’s due in the library soon. Hopefully Tandem is as good as it sounds. -crosses fingers-

I own the first three books on your list and need to read one again, finish one and start one! But I didn’t put books I already own on my list–I want new books for my winter list…lol. You have a good list. Good luck with your reading!

Great picks! There are a bunch of really good books choices here. I read Fangirl recently and loved it so so much! I also would like to read attachments since I loved Fangirl so much. My TTT.

I am going to read Let the Sky Fall this month, among other really awesome books. Some of yours, like Fangirl are on my TBR and I am always at a loss as to what to start reading next. Sometimes, I want to read them all but so less time!

AHhh yes you need to read Fangirl! I am excited to see what you think about it. Nicole is reading it at the moment. Attachments is on my to read list as well, I just got it from the library. Rainbow Rowell is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors!

I read Graceling last week and it was sooo good! It had been on my TBR for ages – what took me so long?! I need to read the sequel this winter. Let The Sky Fall is also near the top of my list – it sounds so different from most other paranormal books! With Poison Princess I’m just never sure. I hear such different things. I don’t know if I’d like the dialect Cole used for the male lead (or the guy generally) so I always hesitate :/ I’d love to hear what you have to say about it though!

I have Let the Sky Fall on my list as well! Except I have the lighter color – it’s more pink than orange. I think it’s because I have the paperback instead of hardback.

I really enjoyed Grave Mercy and Graceling; both had really strong female leads. It’s been a long time since I read either though as well. I didn’t really like Let The Sky Fall…I though the pacing was bad and the villains kind of flimsy. I hope you like it more than me! Nice list & happy reading.

Poison Princess was….good. I struggled with the first half, but the second half was WAY better. I’m in the middle of the audiobook for Let the Sky Fall and it’s pretty darn good so far! Very interesting and unique world. Grave Mercy definitely didn’t work for me (I DNFed…) but I definitely need to pick up a Rainbow Rowell book soon. Same with Graceling, but the hype scares me >.<

Except for Fangirl, Graceling and Attachments, I never heard about any of these books. I’ve read Fangirl and Graceling during the previous months and for some reason, I find them meh. But oh well, I hope it works for you.

Good luck in accomplishing your winter TBR. :D

I love the Rainbow Rowell books, and I still need to read Graceling as well — it’s been on my shelf for years! I’m really interested in Side Effects May Vary too. Great choices!

I JUST started reading Fangirl last night…finally! It is so good so far! I asked for Attachments for Christmas, so hopefully I will be reading that one this winter, too :) Thousand Words by Jennifer Brown was so good! I could hardly put it down and it was very timely and intense to read.
