Last week as I was looking at my stats, I’ve noticed that I haven’t done any Follower Appreciation Giveaway for the longest time and it’s about time I do one to show how much I appreciate you all!
Here are some milestones I’ve hit since I started blogging that I never, ever, thought would happen:
▪ 230,000 total pageviews
▪ About 6,000 comments
▪ Nearly 2,000 followers (not counting both GFC followers and Linky followers, which I’ve removed because I’ve learned that people don’t really follow/read your blog posts those two ways anyways)
▪ 976 Facebook likes (I’m planning something ultra special when I hit 1k Facebook likes -wink wink-)
▪ More than 1,600 Twitter followers
Like wow.
I do have to apologize with how long it takes me to reply to your comments though. Every time you guys post a comment, I read it. It just sucks that I don’t have enough time in the day to respond to every single comment as soon as possible, but don’t worry – a reply will be coming soon!
So what I’ll be doing for this giveaway is for you guys to play a Mini Cover Guessing Game!
Let me explain what and how you’ll play the Cover Guessing Game first:
For those of you who don’t know what the Cover Guessing Game is, I’ll explain it all here: you see all the pictures below? One of those pictures is equal to one book cover. That means those twelve pictures correspond to twelve different books. In the Cover Guessing Game, you’ll have to guess what picture is a piece of what book cover. Up for the challenge? I hope you are!
This Cover Guessing Game will last all month so you can take your time to have fun and guess the answers for extra points for the Rafflecopter. Also, entries towards the Cover Guessing Game is not required, but you can earn extra points when you do them. You’ll have to get the book correct though or your entries will be disqualified.
So, I’m sure many of you are wondering right now: Well, what on Earth will I win? Here’s the fun (or okay, the part where I’m going to torture you all) part: any answer to the Cover Guessing Game will be your prize!
Here’s what I mean: I’ll be meeting the authors of the books used in the Cover Guessing Game in February. The winner can pick any author from the covers I used and get a SIGNED, PERSONALIZED copy of the book. Excited? I sure am!
Even though I will be meeting Marissa Meyer in February, she is not included in this Mini Cover Guessing Game because you basically already have two chances to win copies of it on my Reader Feedback Survey and my New Years Cover Guessing Game.
The Rules + Hints:
- The books used in this Book Cover Guessing Game are all the latest books the authors have written and released (not counting any novellas).
- At first, I wanted to give the prize to the first person who guessed all the above book covers correctly, but I figured that it would be unfair to people in different time zones. Therefore, I will allow Rafflecopter to pick the winner. However, the winner the Rafflecopter picks must have all the correct answers to win or all their entries will be eliminated and I will choose a new winner. Sorry about that, but hey, all the Cover Guessing Game entries are not required. Do the Cover Guessing Game at your own risk.
- Rafflecopter (sometimes) does not let you change your answer once you input your answer in. If you do want to change your answer for any book cover after submitting your old answer to the Rafflecopter, simply email me at whatisakelly(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject “January Cover Guessing Game Answer” with your new book cover answer and the name you used to enter the contest.
- If the Rafflecopter does not accept your answers, just email me your answers at whatisakelly(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject “Follower Appreciation Cover Guessing Game.”
Good luck everyone & let the guessing game begin! ;D
Terms & Conditions:
- This contest is open INTERNATIONALLY.
- The giveaway will run until February 16, 2014.
- You must be 18 years or older, or have parents’ permission to enter.
- All your entries will be disqualified if you pickup entries for something you haven’t done. (I had to do this for so many of my last giveaways, please don’t make me do this again.)
- If you only use ONE account to do all these tasks and enter under different names, they will still only constitute as ONE entry.
- If the winner does not respond to my e-mail within 48 hours, I will have to choose another winner.
- I am not responsible for any items lost in the mail.
First, thanks for the giveaway! The guessing game was on the easier side than it normally is. (Though it could be because I’ve actually seen all these books! ..or so I’m hoping). Congrats on all the blog success!

Thanks for the giveaway, Kelly!
Well, I’m only missing one cover so far, hopefully I’ll figure it out before the giveaway is over. :)
It was easy, except for Cover #4 – I thought it was something else and went to check it. That one took a little bit of searching.

Wow, how much I love these cover guessing games haha, it’s really fun, it may be hard to figure out some covers but overall it’s pretty easy.
Fun! Puzzle 4 was the most confusing. I thought it was this book, then this, but it turned out to another one. ;)
It was fun! I had a little trouble with one of the covers but I figured it out. I love cover guessing games!
I thought it was pretty easy, except for cover number 4. It was fun!
I had trouble two covers but overall it was really fun.
It was pretty easy. Took me awhile to find #4 though, but I think and hope I got it. Thank you for this giveaway. I’m excited to read all of them. I am jealous you are going to meet the authors too. Can I hitch a ride? No one ever comes to my small town. ;( Anyway, thank you.
Congrats on all the milestones that you’ve reached! All of them are impressive and I hope that you’ll be greeted with even more success in 2014! ^_^

I don’t recognize Cover 4 & 5 and I can’t come up with the name for 3, but I will keep searching until I find them all! Haha. I love this game :D but I’d say this one is the most difficult so far..

Thanks for the chance to do this again!
I’m stuck on 1 & 3. I didn’t devote too much time today, so I’ll be back to finish it. Hopefully.
All except #4 were easy. And I can’t believe #4 took so long, it was so obvious! xD
It was quite easy. I had so much fun! Thank you!
This one was easy because I’m going to one of the tour stops! ;D
(Hopefully…work is being a pain in the ass about it and I have to be to work at 6 am the next day!)

PRetty easy but i had to do some sloothing for two of them!
I thought this was not hard yet not easy. It took me 2 days to figure out 4 and 5! When I did I slapped my forheard and was like DUH.
There were a few that got me. I’m so out of the loop.

It wasn’t that hard. I solved it within 3 minutes. People are right. The fourth cover was the hardest but still solvable.

Medium-ish. 4 + 5 are stumping me. I know I’ve seen and know 5, but I can’t pin-point it at the moment.

I did not get the cover entries……….
This was awesome. It was not all that difficult at all. As usual, as soon as I saw this post I immediately jumped on it and did nothing until I finished. I absolutely love these cover guessing game things, it is just so much more fun than a regular giveaway. It speaks to the part of me that loves puzzles and competition!
It was so fun!
I knew 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6 off the top of my head! Had some trouble with 4!
Thanks a bunch! :)
Some of the covers were pretty easy to guess, but 3 & 4 had me stumped for so long! I was kicking myself when I finally realised what both of them were! So I’d say it was medium for me :)

I was stumped on a couple for a bit so I would say something in the middle.
Mmm, it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be :)
Thank you for the giveaway! ^^
I think I guessed them all and it didn’t take too long, so I wouldn’t say it was hard. Though with some, I didn’t know where to begin looking (:
Cover 4! Why must you torture me so?!? It’s the only one I can’t get! Grrr…

This is I guess Medium, but easy compared to the torture of the 1000 likes on facebook guessing game.
Thanks for the opportunity!
It was so hard! I have terrible picture memory. I feel ashamed.
It was not too hard. I really enjoyed finding the covers :)
They were all pretty easy except number 4…the elusive number 4…took a while to get that one!

I’d say medium because 3+4 killed me. It was pretty sad on my part though because I just bought #3 yesterday LOL. I love these challenges so please keep them coming. Thank you!
I think I got 3 of them right, I couldn’t figure out the other 3. I need to start paying attention to covers a lot more closely now. :)
