Stacking the Shelves [66]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I broke my not-really book ban just to buy a box set of Vampire Academy.

Bought:
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead
Frostbite (Vampire Academy #2) by Richelle Mead
Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy #3) by Richelle Mead
Blood Promise (Vampire Academy #4) by Richelle Mead
Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy #5) by Richelle Mead
Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy #6) by Richelle Mead
Diamonds and Deceit (At Somerton #2) by Leila Rasheed
Erased (Altered #2) by Jennifer Rush

vampireacademy diamonsanddeceit

I just couldn’t help but buy this box set of Vampire Academy, especially since Amazon had it on sale for so cheap.
I had also pre-ordered Erased a long time ago. As for Diamonds and Deceit, I saw it at Strand and just couldn’t help but buy it.

Borrowed:
Evertrue (Everneath #1) by Brodi Ashton

evertrue

The awesome Kristen from My Friends Are Fiction heard that I was eagerly awaiting for Evertrue to be released, so she let me borrow her ARC of it! Thank you so much Kristen! -hugs Evertrue to chest.

Won:
Love Irresistibly (FBI/US Attorney #4) by Julie James
Duke of Midnight (Maiden Lane #6) by Elizabeth Hoyt

loveirresistibly dukeofmidnight

I won two of my most favorite adult romance author’s books! I was actually supposed to get Duke of Midnight two months ago and I pretty much gave up on it ever coming, but it finally came! Yay! :D<3 That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?

Just finished reading Erased! It was just as much fun as the first book. :) I quite enjoyed Cinders and Sapphires, so I’m looking forward to reading D & D. It’s kind of like a YA Downton Abbey.

Cinders & Sapphires was okay to me, but that kind of cliffhanger in the end left me wanting more.

Yay! So happy Evertrue FINALLY arrived. I was so scared that it would be lost in the mail and never arrive. I hope you love it and it lives up to your expectations. I read the first VA book and I wasn’t blown away :-( I wanted to love the book so much but it just fell a bit flat to me. I’ve heard the series gets better with each book so I’ll maybe pick it up at another time.

Have a great week and enjoy Evertrue :-)

I got a Goodreads Givaway book called Servants. It is a history book with photos and .talso some personal accounts if british manor servants, like in Downton Abbey, from the turn of the ceause of mntury to modern day. I really wanted this book because of my live fir Diwnton Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs. I amm swamped at the moment so I am going to let my sister read it first. It isn’t an ARC so I don t feel guilty. Why do I think I have read Altered an am not remembering?

I am in love with the box set for the Vampire Academy, Which is weird because I hate the new covers. I don’t even know why I hate the new covers, maybe its because they look to generic. They remind me of every other YA cover out there.

What do you think of the new covers of the VA series? I actually like the first editions better. So glad I got them all before the change of the covers happened. But still that’s so awesome! You have them all! I actually went to B&N today and saw the boxed set in person. I almost started jumping up and down in excitement and the #feels. If you haven’t read them yet read them SOON! The series is awesome! And then you have to catch up with Bloodlines! ^_^
