Stacking the Shelves [69]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This week, I bought WAY too much books (oops). I’m not counting these towards my not-really book ban because I used my textbook money to buy them (even though I’m not supposed to).

Bought:
Delirium (Delirium #1) by Lauren Oliver
Perfect You by Elizabeth Scott
Winger (Winger #1) by Andrew Smith
Stolen: A Letter to My Captor by Lucy Christopher
Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky #3) by Veronica Rossi
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
Scarlet (Scarlet #1) by A.C. Gaughen
The Bone Season (The Bone Seaon #1) by Samantha Shannon

delirium

Don’t glare at me for buying all these books! Please, don’t glare at me!

Traded:
Vortex (Tempest #2) by Julie Cross

vortex

I traded Uninvited for a paperback book of Vortex. Thank you Crystal for the trade! :D

That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?

I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS EXCUSE. IT IS STILL CHEATING.

    *SIDEEYING YOU*

(But yay for Winger! Once I get over my YA reading slump, I plan on getting back to Winger.)

Hehe…I bought too many books this week, too. I’m not on a ban, but I should be! :P Thinking I need to add a copy of Scarlet to my collection, though…I love that series. Have you read all of these or are they all new to you? Regardless, happy reading! :D

You sneaky you, buying books during a book ban.

For a second I thought that Perfect You was Perfect Ruin. Ha ha.

I also got AC Gaughen’s Scarlet! So excited to read it. =D

I haven’t read Delirium series either but I do plan to sometime this year. I loved that cover edition more than the current ones.

Yay for The Bone Season. I’m also hoping to get to it soon.

    Happy reading, Kelly!

Wooo, lots of books! Where do I even begin?! Let’s see… I loved Cruel Beauty and Into the Still Blue! And I really did not like Lauren Oliver’s Delirium series, but to each their own, right? I have an ARC of The Bone Season but I haven’t read it yet. Maybe someday… Anyway. I hope you love all of those not-really book ban books :D

    Have a fabulous weekend!

    Nice haul.

I can recommend Scarlet after reading it on holiday around 18 months ago. I’ve yet to buy Vortex, but I’ve still to read Tempest, so I’m not rushing to buy it yet.

Enjoy your reads and please feel free to check out my haul post at http://thewanderingbookworm.wordpress.com/2014/02/01/book-haul-1-february-2014/

I love your excuse – that it was your textbook money. :) Is that why you were annoyed at how much textbooks cost?? hahaha. I totally get it though becauase there are SO MANY AMAZING BOOKS releasing in Feb and I just can’t. What do I do?? Enjoy your new books! I am eyeing them greedily from afar. :)

It’s hard to imagine any of us blaming you for buying books! :) :) I don’t impose bans on myself simply because the temptation to break them becomes larger when it’s forbidden. Hehe.

I love Delirium, Stolen, Into the Still Blue, AND Cruel Beauty! And the old Delirium cover! I like the new covers, but I read it with the old cover so I have a soft spot for it. :)

    Happy reading!
