I don’t know about you, but my signature is downright ugly. And lame. Let’s not forget lame. Every time I sign my name on something, whether it be a receipt or a new credit card, I wince inside. I don’t know how people come up with such awesome pretty signatures. I’m totally out of the loop with that.
One day, after getting multiple books signed, I thought what if instead of judging a book by its cover, you judge the book by the author’s signature? Will the author’s signature attract you to the book? Will you still buy the book then?
This week, I’m featuring Something Strange & Deadly by Susan Dennard.
Do you like the cover of Something Strange & Deadly? Do you like the author’s signature?
Oooh, I’ve been really interested in this book for a really long time now! Never got to picking it up but I’ll make a mental note of it now… I’m kinda indifferent on the cover as a whole because while I really like the background, the girl is actually really intimidating to me. Susan Dennard’s signature is super cute though! Her D is way nicer than my D.

I love this book and Susan Dennard as an author! Her signature is so pretty :) Mine is really bad though, plus my name is so long it takes a while to write it perfectly.

I love her signature too!

I agree, I love the Something Strange and Deadly covers, because the steampunk style background and historical dress just work with the whole thing. The heart with her signature is adorable, too! <33

I also like the way she writes the letter D but not so much on the letter S. Her signature is simple yet good!

Yes, I would buy it based on the signature. Just look at that heart! Okay, so that isn’t part of her name but I still like it.
