Ughhhhh, another hard topic and one I will definitely give up on.
Why?
Well, here’s a secret of mine.
I don’t listen to any albums. I just listen to songs. The most songs I’ve listened to in a single album is probably three. I just don’t have the patience for it. I just browse Youtube randomly and listen to some songs. That’s it.
So instead of talking about my favorite music albums, which simply does not exist, I will talk about which music album I probably listened to almost fully. After some deliberation, I think I listened to One Direction’s first album/release almost fully. I’ve probably listened to at least seven of their songs when they became super famous and popular. Some of their songs I’ve just listened to once and some were constantly played on repeat at least one hundred times.
In my defense, I was in high school at the time and totally clueless. I never realized that most of their songs were reused tunes from other older bands. I’m not a fan of One Direction’s songs anymore. (Fans of One Direction, please don’t attack me for my opinion!) In fact, I don’t listen to any of their latest songs.
So yep, I utterly fail.
So here’s my task for you: Do you have any album recommendations that I just MUST listen to? Can you convince me that I’m missing out on life music?
Bastille’s Bad Blood and All This Bad Blood are friggin awesome or Arctic Monkey’s AM
I’m really selective about albums I love, and they’re really all over the place – Brand New’s Deja Entendu, Taking Back Sunday’s Louder Now, Jimmy Eat World’s Futures, Anna Nalick’s Wreck of the Day. (Most of these are high school loves, though)
I’ve stopped kinda listening to music lately (so sad) so I can’t really recommend anything, but I can’t wait to read the comments & see what other people are buzzing about!

I have the same. I think I have.. 6 albums and that’s it. I prefer to use Spotify and put it on shuffle. Two favorites I like to listen to is ‘folk you’ and ‘Sigh no more – Mumford and sons.’ The only thing I still want to get is a First aid kit album :) But I get easily bored of listening to the same bands/singers over and over again, so I’m more more into changing up songs on Youtube or Spotify.

I also listen to very few albums. I used when I was younger (in the days of tapes and CDs and no youtube), but not so much anymore.

Omg it depends on what you like? Give me a genre?
Actually check out my Life of a Blogger and listen to those. Cause there’s something there for almost everyone I’d hope.
I followed you via bloglovin and twitter. Your layout is very simplistic and cute.

I just got into Bastille recently! They only have one album, Bad Blood, but they just released an extended version called All This Bad Blood. My favorite songs are Pompeii, The Weight of Living Pt. 1, Icarus, The Draw, and Of the Night, if you just want to pick a few :)
Another I recommend is When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes by Yellowcard. See Me Smiling is my favorite track on that one!

Yeah I know what you mean, but some artists I love so much that I just want to get all of their songs because I love ALL of them! If you’re kind of into the whole pop thing, I’d recommend Of Monsters and Men or Bastille because all of their music is kind of upbeat and super fun like their leading album singles (Little Talks and Pompeii). But my favorite album is probably Daughter’s If You Leave and Arctic Monkey’s AM. And I used to buy all of Taylor Swift’s albums but now I’ve kind of stopped listening to her so that wasn’t very good.

It honestly depends on the genre of music you find yourself liking often. I like a lot of indie rock stuff. For me I love the album Hummingbird by Local Natives, Sigh No More by Mumford&Sons (which I saw someone else also recommended), Continued Silence by Imagine Dragons, and Young The Giant by Young The Giant (their debut album).
Out of all of those artists my current favourite is probably Young the Giant. If you youtube any of their “In The Open” videos you’ll see why I love them so much. :p

I’m the same, I rarely listen to entire albums, than I do entire songs. In our digital age, music is fragmented so it’s easier to get away with it

I used to listen to albums (my Hannah Montana, Selena Gomez, etc. days lol) but now I just listen to songs. I don’t understand buying an album just so I can listen to 1 or 2 of their songs so I think it’s more logical for me to just buy the songs. That way, I can also save money (for books, YAY lol).
