Life Of A Blogger: Bucket List

lifeofablogger

Life Of A Blogger is hosted by the fabulous Jessi from Novel Heartbeat where we let people know more about our lives outside of blogging so they can get to know us better!

Just earlier today I thought I should write a bucket list just in case I die without warning, so yay for this topic! Hopefully I can complete all these tasks!

1. Explore the world using books as a tour guide.
I already planned out parts of it – for Paris, I’ll be using Anna and the French Kiss and Just One Day for other places. As of now, I’m reading a book about Italy and wondering if I will love it enough to use it as a book tour guide.

annaandthefrenchkiss

2. Meet a celebrity.
And hopefully not trip over my feet while fangirling all over him/her.

3. Meet Stephanie Perkins and Laini Taylor in person.
THIS. THISSSS. A million times THISSS.

4. Fall in love and be loved.
Not like I can control this, but one can always hope, right?

5. Open a personal library and own every book that’s a retelling (fairytales, myths, Peter Pan, etc.)

6. Have a collection of bookish swag – namely pins.
I already have a little of this, except I lost some of my Lunar Chronicles swag.

7. Build a blanket fort with someone (idea taken from tumblr).
THISSS. I’ve seen pictures of this and I’ll LOVE to try it sometime.

8. Throw a drink in someone’s face (idea taken from tumblr).
Just for fun. :D

9. Deface one of my favorite books with love. <3
I’m looking at Anna and the French Kiss for this one. And a couple of others.

10. Visit a castle (idea taken from tumblr).
I’ll probably be busying ewing all the cobwebs and the rats, but hey, IT’S A CASTLE. Maybe I’ll find my Prince Charming inside. ;D

11. Witness a wedding proposal (idea taken from tumblr).
I will probably be smiling like a fool when this happens and clapping like crazy.

12. Eat a pizza made in Italy (idea taken from tumblr).
I am reading a book that takes place in Italy right now and the main character talks about how good the pizza is. REALLY? Well, I want to try it!

13. Send a letter to a random address and see if they write back (idea taken from tumblr).
I will probably be smiling like a fool when this happens and clapping like crazy.

14. Read all the Harry Potter books in one day.
I can do this – I’m a fast reader. At least, I hope I can do this.

15. Go on an aquarium date. (idea taken from tumblr).
This sounds FANTASTIC.

16. Participate in Nanowrimo.
ONE DAY. When college is over.

17. Live happily ever after.
Because who doesn’t want that?

And that’s all for now. Yes, a lot of these are bookish. I’ll maybe add some things onto this list as I go along because it’s 10:19 PM right now (the time I’m typing up this post) and I have to sleep, but I’m not done because tumblr has some GREAT inspiration.

What is on your bucket list? I bet you guys added things I’ve never thought of before!

Speak Your Mind

Aw. I think finding love and being love ( and the one about witnessing a wedding proposal) is really sweet. I consider myself really lucky because I actually have been to the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany (I hoped I spelt that right :P) and another one in Holland and while it isn’t cobwebs all the time, it does get creepy (even in a guided tour). I hope you fulfill all these wishes, they seem real fun! ( have also thrown a drink in someone’s face. But they knew I was going to do it and it was kind of rehearsed…I don’t think it counts)

Ha ha, maybe one day. ONE DAY.
YOU’VE BEEN TO TWO CASTLES?! I’m so jealous of you Maddy, cobwebs and all! :P
I wish someone would allow me to throw a drink in their face like that! It’ll be sooo fun! :D

Neuschwanstein is so awesome, did you see the hang-gliders when you were there? A lot of the year, hang-gliders float around the castle since the wind is so great for it. Also, it’s the castle the Disney castle was based on! Sorry, I get excited. lol

Haha, I love number 13 – It makes me think of the book This is What Happy Looks Like. Maybe you’ll find you’re Happily Ever After that way!

Also – you must be a really fast reader if you can read all the HP books in one day. That’s crazy and totally awesome!

This is a great post, I love these choices! Live happily ever after is a great one, I think everyone would like that! Also I would be most impressed if you read EVERY Harry Potter book in one day. I certainly wouldn’t be able to haha!

#13 sounds really cool! I’ve always wanted to do the same thing but with telephone numbers instead and calling people and having a conversation with them. #8 sounds fun too. It’s always shown in the movies that you always wonder what it would feel like to do it yourself. Like in Glee and the whole slushie throwing thing. Ahh, I could basically go on and on about everything on your bucket list. I would love to do all of them too!!

OMG I would LOVE to do #13 that would be sooo cool! You know what? Someone should write a book about that! And then the person who gets it is a boy and then he’ll reply back to the girl but then something happens and..dun dun dun… haha. Nice bucket list!

I love your bucket list, and using books as your own little tour guide is SO cool! I really want to do that too now because it just sounds so awesome. Also ditto on the whole love thing. I want a boyfriend sooo bad but I feel like it’s never going to happen so until then I’ll just sit here alone lol.

I witnessed a wedding proposal at Disneyland once while I was there for my senior grad night, and it was the CUTEST thing I’ve ever seen! I was smiling like a fool for ten minutes after :D I’d love to go on an aquarium date as well, and reading the HP series in one day doesn’t sound like an awful idea either. Love all your ideas!

Love your bucketlist Kelly! Funny, one part of my bucketlist includes going to NYC and visiting all the bookstores there, especially Stands! hahaha. BTW, Perkins will be visiting us here in PH this year for a signing! Though I don’t know when yet :)

Ahh so many fun things (and stuff from tumblr)! One thing that I’ve always wanted to do for some reason was go to a masquerade. It seems like it’d be so much fun to dress up with fancy masks and such. If you do any of these things, make sure to blog about it, that would be so much fun to read! Oh and make sure if you do number 8, film it. :D
