Life Of A Blogger is hosted by the fabulous Jessi from Novel Heartbeat where we let people know more about our lives outside of blogging so they can get to know us better!
I can’t think of many quirks I have at the moment, but believe me, I do have a lot of quirks.
My one bookish quirk is that I have to own two or more copies of my most favorite books or books with a gorgeous cover that I love. Latest example: I have multiple copies of Sarah Maas’ books including the hardcovers, paperbacks, ARC, and even the UK edition because I just love the books so much. I also recently just bought the UK edition of Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door even though I already have the US edition.
Another quirk is that I am a very determined person once I make something my goal. Like crazy determined. I make the sort of impossible happen. For example, back in elementary school, twirling a pen around your fingers was the trend.
My one “friend” who could do it was always showing off with her pen spinning skills, taunting me that I couldn’t do it like her. In my determination, I practiced spinning my pen using my fingers, even though I didn’t know how to do it. Believe me, it is actually wayy harder than it looks. Two months later after endless practicing and endless determination, I was a pro.
What are some of your quirks? Do you share any of mine? I want to know!
I literally smell my new books… I think I should create a scent called “new book scent”.

I remember the twirling pen! I used to see my sister do it all the time.
I don’t think I have any bookish quirks except the normal ones. I don’t like other people touching my books. I cradle my books in my hands like a baby. ;)

I’m envious of your pen twirling talent. This was a thing when I was in school as well but I never learned how to do it.

Haha I still don’t know how to twirl a pen :( I’ve been trying but the pen/pencil always ends up on the floor. I wish I was crazily determined as you! For me it’s either go hard or go home…when I feel like not doing it, I don’t do it. For example, during readathons, at first I feel very excited and confident, but when the first day of the readathons come, I feel lazy and just blegh.

I don’t have many quirks, really. I don’t need multiple copies of my favorite books – well except for Pride and Prejudice where I can’t have too many!
I hate the color red. I don’t know why, but I just hate it. It’s so loud and bright and yuck!

I have 3 copies of Throne of Glass! The UK and American paperbacks and the hardcover. There’s a few others that I have duplicates of because I like the original cover but want my series to match (Shatter Me and Immortal Rules).
I’m the same way…when I want something, I get very determined. I’m stubborn as hell, too! If I get a thought in my head, I won’t stop until I’ve accomplished it.
