Life Of A Blogger: Where Were You 13 Years Ago?

lifeofablogger

Life Of A Blogger is hosted by the fabulous Jessi from Novel Heartbeat where we let people know more about our lives outside of blogging so they can get to know us better!

So 2014 minus thirteen years equals 2001. Be right back, doing some math to figure out what grade I was in thirteen years ago back in 2001.

Okay, after some serious math calculating, exactly thirteen years ago I was in the first grade going to the second grade. Even though my summer was just over and I just started school again, I would be pretty happy back then because my second grade teacher is also my first grade teacher by chance. I adored my first grade teacher back then, who fed my addiction for reading.

I’ll also probably be happy that I’ll get to walk to school with my sister for the first time ever since she would be starting kindergarten.

Where were you thirteen years ago?

I was in the seventh grade. I loved my life then. Looking back now I see that that was when my life was much much simpler. I loved seventh grade. I was in dance and loved school!!

I was a junior in high school, sitting in Yearbook when I first heard about what was happening. I just remember going through the whole day in a daze.

Well now I feel ancient! I has just finished my second year of college, studying Psychology and Children’s Literature at San Diego State University. I had a huge flare-up of mono, which was so bad I had to halt my college education, move out of my quaint rented duplex and back in with my parents, and basically spent Sept-Dec as a lump, sleeping, reading, and panicking about my future. :)

13 years ago, I was one year old and watching PBS kids while my parents watched the news about 9/11.

My memories of 2001 are extremely hazy, considering I was barely a toddler at the time xD Probably playing with my older brother, who would’ve been back home from preschool at the time I’m writing this comment (4 in the afternoon).

13 years ago, I was 13! It was pretty boring, haha. But I did have a lot of teen rom-coms to watch, so that wasn’t so bad (:

Hmm exactly 13 years ago I was 5 yrs old and don’t remember much lol. The only thing I remember is that every night my mom and I would read books.
