Life Of A Blogger: Unpopular Opinions

lifeofablogger

Life Of A Blogger is hosted by the fabulous Jessi from Novel Heartbeat where we let people know more about our lives outside of blogging so they can get to know us better!

Oh boy. For this topic, I’ll need to get some kind of shield ready.

Now some unpopular opinion time:

1. I’m not in love or even in like with Taylor Swift’s Blank Space. Like, I know the message she’s trying to portray in her song, but it’s just not catchy nor is it my type of song. I also don’t like Wildest Dreams because it is quite obvious that Taylor Swift copied Lana Del Rey’s style for that song.

2. I didn’t like or love The Fault In Our Stars. The writing was too pretentious and I didn’t get half of what the characters were saying. It was also -whispers- quite boring.

3. I don’t like cats. Or kittens. Like, at all. Just seeing one gets on my nerves – I just hate the way they stare at you like you’re an idiot and it’s smarter than you.

4. I don’t like guys with mohawks. Mohawks are just not my thing. Sorry not sorry.

5. I absolutely love flat soda. I can’t stand soda with bubbles in it, which is why I hardly ever drink soda.

What are some of your unpopular opinions? I want to know!

1 I don’t like anything by Taylor Swift to be honest, and I especially dislike Blank Space.
    2. I don’t like The Fault in Our Stars either…
    3. People like guys with Mohawks?

Great post! You have to speak your mind at times!

Hahaha. Oh my gosh. I thought I was the only one who liked flat soda. I hate bubbles in my drinks, so I never drink soda unless it’s the only option.

i am not a huge fan of beach parties, or even going on a beach vacation during the summer which is really ironic coz i live in a tropical country and we have loads of really nice beaches…if i ever find myself in a beach i bring chips and books with me and stay under a shade for most of the time…i burn easily if i stay under the sun for too long even with loads of skin lotion on…i take a dip every now and then on the sea but i feel that my body gets irritated with the sand and sea after a period of time. i just go there for the view and ambiance to chillax but not necessarily be that active on beach activities.

Flat soda for the win! I don’t like bubbly soda either. In fact, if I get a soda, I always want a fountain drink, and not a bottle because they get flat faster. I always want ice in my soda too, to water it down.

I can’t comment on The Fault in Our Stars (never read it, don’t plan on doing so) or Taylor’s latest (haven’t heard it), but I agree 100% about flat pop! The fizzies bother me and I’m glad I’m not the only one! :) My boyfriend always gives me strange looks for it, but I’m not alone anymore!

Ohhh good ideas!! TAYLOR SWIFT. I hate her. That’s an unpopular opinion for sure…why didn’t I think of that?! I also don’t like dogs very much most days after working with them for nearly 8 years. Most people would have a problem with that!

I cannot stand Taylor Swift. Like, AT ALL. Terrible voice. Mediocre song-writing.
I love cats. Sorry. (Not sorry.)
I don’t watch Doctor Who, Supernatural or Once Upon a Time – and I have no desire to.
I don’t drink coffee. Thus negating the belief that all book people rely on coffee.

I don’t like exercising. But I do love being active and doing stuff.
I have no interest in “popular” fashion.
    I never wear makeup.
    I HATE celebrities.
I generally reject ANYTHING that results in people feeling bad about their own self-worth or body image.

I don’t really care for TSwift either. Her music doesn’t appeal to me, but I can applaud her dominating the charts and other people’s heart. She’s just not for me.

Dude, all of John Green’s work is pretentious as hell. It follows the same formula. It gets boring and annoying.

YOU DON’T LIKE CATS???? WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE WE FRIENDS. THEY ARE SUPERIOR CREATURES. HOW DARE YOU.

Haha I am that way too! It bugs me when guys have mohawks…all those those hair gel. Ew. Also, TFIOS was alright. It wasn’t amazing in my opinion.

I have never read, tried to read, nor have plans to read, TFioS. No desire. That is probably even worse to some people than disliking it. Shrugs
I am not a fan of Taylor Swift.
I don’t do kittens/cats. I am a dog person through and through. My 3 mutts snuggling with me on the couch can attest to that. Plus, with two of them being around 80 pounds, and the third who will be around 150, a cat would be in trouble.
I don’t dig mohawks on people, but I have seen a Labradoodle with one and it was AWESOME!!!
Finally….. flat, bubble-less soda? I can honestly say I just don’t get that one, but I don’t mind it one bit that that is how you roll!!!
Awesome post. I need to do one of these. I could rack up some serious Unpopular Opinions to be talked about!

OMG! i din’t like The Fault In Our Stars too , and i don’t understand why so many ppl loves it! i feel the movie is much more better than the books , however i feel boring in many parts , i mostly just flipping the pages when they went to Armsterdam . The whole story i just like to see Isaac because he’s funny :) I actually plan to reread it in the end of year , but since u review about it , i think i will just skip over and continue my books in the TBR list

    1. I only heard a bit of Blank Space, but I liked it well enough. I haven’t heard her other songs yet, but copying people’s styles is nothing new in the music business. ;)
    2. I liked TFIOS.
    3. I love cats.
    4. I didn’t know some girls liked guys with mohawks (Outside of Free To Fall by Lauren Miller…)
    5. I hate flat soda.

Some of my unpopular opinions are that I have no interest in Harry Potter, though I will be watching all of the movies sometime. I’m not a big fan of John Green.

    Love this post!
    Some of my unpopular opinions:
    – I love rainy days – they are so much better than sunny (hot, sticky, skin-burning) days!
    – I’m not a big fan of the Summer (so many sunny days!)
    – I actually like diet Coke better than regular Coke. The regular stuff is too sweet for me. In fact, diet Pepsi is even better.
    – I like preffer reading books on my Ipad. I do love owning books, they sure are beautiful and smell perfect, but reading an ebook is just so much more practical!
I had a lot of fun with this! Thanks!
