I’m pretty sure most of you have heard the term “mood reader” before. It’s when people read books based on the mood they are currently in. I’m a mood reader myself – I might not be in the mood for a book with a lot of world-building (my current mood now), or I might be in the mood for a book with tons of romance (a mood I was in just before) – which is pretty difficult and why I don’t plan my to-read pile for the month because I just can’t stick to them. Honestly, being a mood reader kind of sucks.
But that’s not all. Not only am I a mood reader, I’m also an indecisive mood reader, making my life ten times worst. Not only does the next book I read have to fit my mood, but I also spend at least a day picking my next read because I just don’t know what to read next. If I’m in a contemporary mood, I’ll have at least three different options available to me and spend so much time picking one I want to read. I could literally read a book with the time I spent being indecisive about my next read.
If I wasn’t an indecisive mood reader, I could probably read a lot more books than I do now.
Are you a mood reader? Are you also an indecisive mood reader? I want to know!
