This week is another week where I didn’t buy any books, technically. I’ll explain more in the details below, but yes, I think this week counts!

Bought:
TECHNICALLY NOTHING. I will explain more in the details below.
For Review:
The Conspiracy of Us (Untitled #1) by Maggie Hall
Dove Arising (Dove Chronicles #1) by Karen Bao
Becoming Jinn (Becoming Jinn #1) by Lori Goldstein
The Novice by Taran Matharu
Lion Heart (Scarlet #3) by A.C. Gaughen
Soulprint by Megan Miranda
Traded:
Valkyrie Rising by Ingrid Paulson
Awaken (Abandon #3) by Meg Cabot
Won:
Say Yes to the Marquess (Castles Ever After #2) by Tessa Dare (Thank you Jessica!)
Shattered by Linda Howard (Thank you Jessica!)
Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay (Thank you Jessica!)
Deceptive (Illusive #2) by Emily Lloyd-Jones (Thank you Emily!)
I am so excited for all the books I got for review this week. I received both The Conspiracy of Us and Dove Arising from Penguin because I’m on both blog tours. I am especially excited to read Becoming Jinn, , and Lion Heart. They all promise to be epic.
As for the “technically still never bought any books,” let me explain. Last week, I won a $30 Barnes & Noble gift card from Jessica at Literary, Etc. (thanks again Jessica!) I bought Say Yes to the Marquess, Shattered, and Of Beast and Beauty using that $30 Barnes & Noble, so technically, I didn’t buy those three books, but won it. ;D
I also won an ARC of Deceptive and a tote bag that came along with it from Emily Lloyd-Jones during a twitter giveaway. Thank you so much Emily!
That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?
AHHH! So many gorgeous books! I’m jealous of you because you got Becoming Jinn and The Conspiracy of Us! Anyways, happy reading and please do let me know if both are great! Great haul, Kelly. :D

I’m trying very hard not to buy anything until I read quite a few of the books on my TBR, but I did buy a copy of The DUFF this week.

Great list! I don’t think I bought any this week, but I did get a shipment in. I spent on of my B&N giftcards that I got for Christmas. Happy reading! :)

I read Dove Arising this week and it was an okay book. I liked it, but it was a pretty average dystopian. I also read Soulprint and I really liked that one! The Conspiracy of Us looks good and, of course, Lion Heart looks AMAZING!!!
I hope you enjoy all of your books!

That’s totally a valid reason of not buying books! I think if someone gave us a gift card & we spent it, I don’t count that as buying since I’m not using my own money lol. Also, I’m currently reading The Conspiracy of Us and it’s really good! I don’t love it, but I am really enjoying the plot. It’s kind of slow though, but hopefully it picks up a bit (I’m halfway through it).
Back to the book haul…I didn’t buy any books since January 1st!!! Yay lol. Like you, I technically did not buy any books….Ignite was $0.00 on the Amazon Kindle so I “bought” it … not really since it’s 0 bucks haha.
Jealous of your Conspiracy of Us. I got an ARC of Dove Arising this week as well. Great haul!
You can check out my haul in the link below.
