Patience My Darling is a feature where I highlight books that I’m extremely interested in reading that will be releasing sometime this month. I’ll also be highlighting some books I’ve already read since most people might not have read them yet.
I don’t think I’m interested in many books that are released in March, until I actually started compiling this list.
March 3rd

The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski
I wasn’t all that really into The Winner’s Curse, but so many people claim that The Winner’s Crime was better than The Winner’s Curse, so here’s hoping that I won’t be disappointed!
Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop
Okay, so I haven’t started this series yet, but I’ve seen so many people loving it on Twitter and on Goodreads so I thought it was about time I start. I’ve also got a thing for werewolf books ever since Kelley Armstrong’s Darkest Powers series so hopefully I’ll enjoy this werewolf series!
The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace
I knew I needed The Storyspinner in my life ever since I first saw it. Not only does the cover have a female archer (arrows!), but the story focuses around a missing princess and MAGIC. Who can resist that kind of temptation?
March 10th

Shadow Scale by Rachel Hartman
Okay, so yeah, I DNF’d Seraphina when I first read it, but hey, I can still look forward to seeing Shadow Scale on shelves right? Especially with that awesome shiny blue cover it has.
Little Peach by Peggy Kern
I’ve never heard of this one until Crystal from Bookiemoji suggested it to me and just, wow. Little Peach is about such a hard topic and I wonder what Peggy Kern is going to do with it.
The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows
I’ve heard nothing but great things about The Orphan Queen and I can’t wait to read it and see what I think about it since I DNF’d Jodi’s debut, Incarnate. Hopefully it’ll be an improvement!
March 17th

Everything That Makes You by Moriah McStay
I love to read books that takes place in parallel universes. Also, have you looked at that cover? Hopefully Everything That Makes You turns out to be great!
The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne
When I saw The Wrong Side of Right advertised as part My Life Next Door, I automatically needed it in my life no matter what it is about. Hopefully it lives up or lives up close to My Life Next Door!
Under A Painted Sky by Stacey Lee
The first thing I thought when I saw Under A Painted Sky was DIVERSITY. We definitely need more diverse books. My next thought was the wild West, promptly followed by NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! Plus, Under A Painted Sky also promises an epic friendship and who could resist that?
March 24th
Written in the Stars by Aisha Saeed
Not only is Written in the Stars written by a diverse author (again, we need more diverse books!), but it is also a book about arranged marriages and I’m always interested in reading books about arranged marriages (because how can you not?). Written in the Stars is particularly made for me. Here’s hoping that I’ll end up loving Written in the Stars.
March 31st
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
This book guys, THIS BOOK. BUY THIS BOOK AS SOON AS IT’S RELEASED. I’ve already read and beyond LOVED Emery Lord’s The Start of Me and You. It has the perfect combination of friendships, romance, conflict, and just everything you can ever want in a contemporary.

I actually finished The Winner’s Curse and loved the ending so much that I decided, that’s it. Not reading on. I suppose I may change my mind if it turns out to be too awesome XD And ooh, the Storyspinner. Not a huge fan of the cover, but I agree, THAT PREMISE.
