The Week That Was Full of Snow, Rain, and Some More Snow Haul

This week was full of snow. And rain. And some more snow. Can the weather please stop snowing already? I am so ready for Spring!

rebelbelle

Bought:
Rebel Belle (Rebel Belle #1) by Rachel Hawkins
The Assassin’s Blade (Throne of Glass #0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas
Kin (Tales of Beauty & Madness #3) by Lili St. Crow

For Review:
The Alex Crow by Andrew Smith (Thank you Penguin!)
The Cake House by Latifah Salom (Thank you Penguin Random House!)
The Haunting of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie (Thank you Kathleen!)

I already have a hardcover of Rebel Belle, but when I saw the paperback, I couldn’t resist! Same thing with The Assassin’s Blade in paperback.

I’ve also already read The Haunting of Sunshine Girl and enjoyed it.

That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get?

I got The Cake House also. I’m not sure it’s my kind of read, but I might give it a go. I take it you liked Rebel Belle? I’ve been wanting to read that one for awhile now! I hope you enjoy these Kelly!

Nice haul of books this week. Yes, I so want it to be spring already. I’m tired of rain, snow, more snow, etc. I so feel your pain this week. You got some nice books. Enjoy them.

Lots of snow O_O But hey, Johns Hopkins FINALLY relented and gave us a snow day. Or two. They’re soooo stingy with the snow days. There was black ice everywhere last week and the university was open. Like I wasn’t going to fall over several times and break my neck -.-

Anyway. I’m curious about Rebel Belle! A friend loved it and has been recommending it to me for ages. I have HAUNTING, but I’ll be giving it away (didn’t ask for it, won’t have time to read it). I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Kelly!

I really want to read Rebel Belle now! I keep hearing so many great things about it. Sadly, it slipped under my radar when it released. This should be my next book purchase if I remember it! I always go completely blank when I’m at a bookstore.

Ooh, your haul has me green with envy right now! And I so understand your need for the winter to be done already… Just when we thought it was over, along came Friday with the heaviest snowfall you can imagine :( My poor daffodils are putting on a brave front, but I’ll bet everything in the garden is frozen…

Ew, so sorry about the snow. :( Our temperatures here finally started rising again today. Ooh, Assassin’s Blade looks so pretty. I hope you like The Alex Crow! It sounds so interesting. I’m totally one of those people who will buy multiple forms of the same book. :) I haven’t heard of Kin, The Cake House or The Haunting of Sunshine Girl.

I won books this past week! So I should be receiving ARCS of:

Great haul. I really want to read Alex Crow because the description on Goodreads had me with “depressed bionic reincarnated cow.” I have never read anything by that author before but have always wanted to. This might just be the one.
