Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten ALL TIME Favorite Authors. Man, I can’t wait to talk about and flail about my favorite authors!
So here’s my list in no particular order:

1. Laini Taylor
Just this week I was reminiscing Laini Taylor’s brilliant books and talking about rereading them with my friends. I still haven’t read Dreams of Gods & Monsters yet for some weird reason, but hopefully will very soon when I reread the first two books in the series!
2. Morgan Matson
Morgan Matson wrote the brilliance that was Since You’ve Been Gone and guys, I CAN NOT STOP TALKING AND LOVING THIS BOOK. (You guys probably noticed by all my posts about it and tweets when it was on sale for $1.99 on Kindle.) I can’t wait to read Morgan Matson’s other books – hopefully this summer – and also read Katie Finn’s books. (If you don’t know it yet, Katie Finn and Morgan Matson are the same person.)
3. Stephanie Perkins
I worship Stephanie Perkins and all her books. I know “worship” is a strong word, but hey, it’s true. Anna and the French Kiss is still one of my top favorite books ever.
4. Huntley Fitzpatrick
Huntley Fitzpatrick’s My Life Next Door stayed with me for the longest time and made such a huge impact on me – still does in fact. Even though I’ve never read What I Thought Was True yet, I know I’ll love it (I hope I just didn’t jinx that from happening).
5. Kasie West
Kasie West’s Split Second was one of the two books I gave a five star rating to in 2014. Yes, I loved Split Second that much. Even though I didn’t enjoy some of Kasie West’s other books, Split Second just fills me with so many <3<3<3.
6. Sherry Thomas
I absolutely adored Sherry Thomas’ The Burning Sky and I know I’ll enjoy The Perilous Sea just as much, or even more. I’ve also talked to Sherry a few times on twitter and she’s just so nice!
7. Kelley Armstrong
I adore every single Young Adult book this woman writes (except for Sea of Shadows since I’ve never read it yet). I haven’t read Kelley Armstrong’s adult books yet, but hopefully will find the time to sometime soon.
8. Rachel Hawkins
I was a fan of Rachel Hawkins before I started blogging and discovered her Hex Hall trilogy. I enjoyed her latest book, Rebel Belle, just as much and can’t wait to read Miss Mayhem and the third book in the series.

9. Katie McGarry
Both Pushing the Limits and Dare You To are two of my favorite books, ever. Just rereading some of the parts that made me cry in those two books the first time that I’ve read it still makes me cry to this day. I can’t wait to start Nowhere But Here as I’m confident that I’ll love it.
10. Lisa Kleypas
Lisa Kleypas writes the best historical romances ever. It’s like a proven fact. I can reread her books over and over again and never get tried of them. Lisa, please write more books!
And now, I want to know, who are your ALL TIME favorite authors?
I absolutely agree on Stephanie Perkins, Katie McGarry and Huntley Fitzpatrick!!
I haven’t read a lot of books bu the other authors, but I’ll make up for that soon! :3

I feel so weird and creepy for recognizing all of these without even having to look at the names. I wasn’t a fan of Morgan Matson’s debut novel and Stephenie Perkins’ novels are just terrible to me. Aside from that, your other picks are absolutely brilliant and I loved all their books!

Narrowing down the list to ten was SO HARD. Ha. I really need to read Since you’ve been gone. Everyone loves it, but I still haven’t read it! Crazy.

I’ve only read Laini Taylor from your list, though her work is completely gorgeous. I adore her writing and the beauty of her descriptions. I’ve only read one of her books, though, so I didn’t put her on my list. No doubt she’ll be there by the end of the year, if DoSaB is anything to rely on!
I’m really keen to read My Life Next Door, too- I’ve been wanting to read it for an age, it sounds really wonderful.
Apart from that, I haven’t read or marked to read any of these authors, though I suppose I would like to read some of Stephanie Perkin’s work!
Past favourites include: Kresley Cole, Katie McGarry, Miranda Kenneally, J R Ward, Meg Cabot, Colleen Hoover, Tijan, Penelope Douglas, Catherine Anderson, Rae Carson, Stepanie Perkins, Kylie Scott.
There are several authors I want to try in 2016: Marissa Meyer, Sarah Rees Brennan, Laini Taylor etc! Just hope I can find the time…
