Stacking the Shelves [9]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This week, I spent more than $50 on books. I should stop or I’ll go broke (not like I’m not already).

Bought:
Hallowed (Unearthly #2) by Cynthia Hand
Something Strange and Deadly (Something Strange and Deadly #1) by Susan Dennard
The Selection (The Selection #1) by Kiera Cass
Valkyrie Rising (Valkyrie #1) by Ingrid Paulson
Seraphina (Seraphina #1) by Rachel Hartman

I’ve brought all these books from Strandbooks, my current bookstore addiction. I was lucky to get The Selection, Hallowed, and Valkyrie Rising brand new for 50% off.

Borrowed:
Blood Red Road (Dust Lands #1) by Moira Young
Article 5 (Article 5 #1) by Kristen Simmons
Lullaby (Watersong #2) by Kristen Simmons

I’ve heard not-so-good things about Article 5, but because of that awesome cover, I’m willing to try it. Also, I hope Lullaby would be a lot better than Wake was.

What books did you get? Link me! :D

That’s a lot of nice books you got there. Valkyrie Rising and Something Strange and Deadly were great reads, and so was Seraphina and Hallowed. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Fabulous new books!! I absolutely LOVED The Selection, Valkyrie Rising, and Article 5! Unfortunately Seraphina wasn’t for me (despite how badly I wanted to love it), but I hope you enjoy it! Have a great week. :)

Ohh, I loved Something Strange and Deadly! I hope you’ll enjoy it too :) And I really want to read Unearthly, I heard so many great things about it.
Thanks for stopping by yesterday – I can return the compliment about the blog name ;) “Oh damn books” would be an appropriate comment for people who walk into my room for the first time… and I need another shelf. Again.

So I’m just discovering your blog and seriously, where have you been all my life?? I read through your reviews and, yeah, it’s safe to say I’ll be back for more.

I have a copy of Valkyrie Rising that I really need to get to & I’ve heard insanely awesome things about Seraphina! Same goes for those Dust Lands books.

    Enjoy!
