Stacking the Shelves [24]

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This week, I refrained from buying books! :D

Borrowed:
Requiem (Delirium #3) by Lauren Oliver
Slated (Slated #1) by Teri Terry
The Clearing by Heather Davis
Easy by Tammara Webber
The Goddess Inheritance (Goddess Test #3) by Aimee Carter
Mila 2.0 (Mila 2.0 #1) by Debra Driza

I finally got Requiem this week! Too bad I have to finish reading Just One Day before I can start it. As for Slated, I went to a book signing for it and found it interesting, so I decided to check it out. I read The Clearing about two years ago and absolutely loved it. I’m planning on re-reading it again to see if my feelings ever changed. I also can’t wait to see how Aimee Carter ended her series in The Goddess Inheritance.

That’s all for this week! What books did you guys get? Link me up!

I need to start the Delirium series, I have the first two copies on my shelf but I haven’t read them yet… Is the series good? I’ve heard great things, just not enough to push me over the edge.

And MILA 2.0 sounds awesome! :)

You’ve got a fantastic library. Mine takes at least six months to get new books in.

I’m looking forward to reading Requiem and Mila 2.0. I’ve read the Goddess Inherritance and I felt like it was a satsifying end to the Goddess test series. Hope you enjoy making your way though this week’s haul :)

It really depends if you’ll enjoy Lauren Oliver’s writing style. The first book had okay, but slow pacing and Pandemonium was a lot better with the pacing.
I also think that the idea of love as a disease is really unique too! :D

I went to three different kind of branches, that’s why. :D
Ohh, thank goodness you liked The Goddess Inheritance since I heard so many people wasn’t satisfied with it.
    And thank you! (:

I love the delirium seires and really want to get caught up with it to see how it ends, although I just read a review that said it was an awful book. So I hope you like it.
Goddesses inheritance was really good and a great end to the series. Although I can see how some people didn’t like it, because the main character was a little annoying.
Hope you like all you books :D.

Ya, I love the idea, completely unique! I’ve read Lauren Oliver’s debut book Before I Fall and loved it, so I’m familiar with her writing style. I’ll start reading it soon. :)

Great haul. Congratulations on not buying any books this week, I wish I could refrain, but always find something. I have Mila 2.0 pre-ordered, it doesn’t come out in Aus until the end of the month. I haven’t read the Delirium series, but really want to soon, hear so many good things about it. Thanks for sharing and happy reading.

I know! I was so close to going to a bookstore on Wednesday, but I’m like no, I spent WAY too much last week. Stay away from the bookstore.
Yep, we both definitely need to read Easy!

Woah, ‘too bad’ you have to finish Just One Day o.O? Doesn’t sound like you’re loving it as much as I did :/
I haven’t started any of the other series yet, but I’m very curious about Mila 2.0, and now about The Clearing because you love it so much and I’ve never heard of it before :) Happy reading! I hope you’ll enjoy Requiem!

Just One Day is okay so far. It’s kind of an on and off feeling, one moment I really love it and the next moment I’m just unattached to it.
I wonder how I’ll like The Clearing now after a year. o:
And thanks Carmen, hopefully I’ll enjoy Requiem too! :D
