Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character.

This list is surprisingly hard. I don’t have much book boyfriends. And yes, that’s because I’m very hard to impress.

So here’s my list:

inb anna scan

1. Cash from Inbetween by Tara A. Fuller
Yes, Cash is a player, but he has his reasons. Yes, the way he sometimes treats Emma makes me mad, but nobody is perfect.

2. Étienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Oh my goodness. When I finished Anna and the French Kiss, all I could think about was St. Clair for one straight hour. Oh my goodness. Everything about him is just -fans self-.

3. Mickey O’Connor from Scandalous Desires by Elizabeth Hoyt
I love the way Mickey is so blunt, so ruthless, but he completely softens for Silence. I love the way he wears so many rings (weird, I know). It also helps that he’s a pirate. ;D

stranger you hexhall

4. Jeff from Stranger with My Face by Lois Duncan
Okay, I have this thing for scarred boys, especially scarred brooding boys that trusts you and rescues your life. So sue me.

5. Jack Pallas from Something About You by Julie James
Tall, dark, handsome, and a FBI agent. Sold.

6. Archer from Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
Archer cracks me up. He’s also cute, knows how to fight, and his past is mysterious.

lola halfway onceburned

7. Cricket from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
I like a tall, quiet guy. A tall quiet guy that builds inventions? Gimme.

8. Bones from Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
Oh my god. I love everything about Bones. Well, I’m not sure if I’ll like to date a vampire, but still.

9. Vlad from Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost
I love how Vlad is extremely loyal to his people. Imagine if he was extremely loyal to you.

everneath
10. Jack from Everneath by Brodi Ashton
A guy that never sees you for six long months, talks to you again, and sacrifices his own life for you sake. Seriously? You don’t even have to ask.

And now, I want to know, what are your top ten book boyfriends? ;D

Aaaaww, I have tons of book boyfriends. I fall for fictional guys easily. Heehee. I haven’t read most of the novels you featured so I gotta work on that to see what’s the deal with these! :)

I would have included Etienne in my list but thought, “nah, he’s too mainstream.” But yeah, Etienne is totally crush-worthy. :)

LOL yeah, he is too mainstream, but I don’t have that much book boyfriends so I decided to put him there so I could get the list over with. (:

I would have added Vlad and Archer had I kept on with my list…I already cheated enough by putting 13 characters down. And Jack! Sacrificing everything for Becks! Sigh. (I just got Everbound from the library.)

Here’s my list: Top Ten Tuesday

Don’t worry about cheating, I saw some people with at least 17 guys on their list! And yes Jack. Wait until you get to Everbound. Then you’ll be torn between two guys.
Thanks for the follow & I happily followed back! (:

Great list! That is why I really want to like Jack from Everneath, but I just don’t for some reason. Archer is awesome, and he is perfect for Sophie. They both have enough snark between them to last an eternity.

I DEFINITELY agree with Jack from Everneath. I’m in the middle of Inbetween, and so far Cash doesn’t seem too crush-worthy :/ It’s nice how he worries about Emma, but I’m annoyed with him for ditching her at the bonfire after convincing her to go, and promising to keep her company. That was pretty bogus.

In addition, I have to add Barrons from the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. He kind of seems like a creep sometimes, but it’s for a reason.

    Travis from Beautiful Disaster.
    Jack from Smooth Talking Stranger.
Rob from the 1-800-WHERE-R-U series. He’s pretty much perfect.

I can’t think of any more right now. Those were the most memorable :)

I don’t know why I liked Cash, but there was just something about him, especially at the end.
I have to read the Fever series asap, I have the first book with me, but don’t have the time to read it yet. ):

I can’t come up with 10 off the top of my head… but Valek from Maria Snyder’s “Poison Study” would rank high on that list. (Yes, my brain is STILL stuck on that book! *lol*)
