Today, we’ll be doing another Cover Guessing Game.
For those of you who don’t know what the Cover Guessing Game is, I’ll explain it all here: you see all the pictures below? One of those pictures is equal to one book cover. That means those twelve pictures correspond to twelve different books. In the Cover Guessing Game, you’ll have to guess what picture is a piece of what book cover. Up for the challenge? I hope you are!
And before I forget, I’ll have to name the prize of course. The winner of the Cover Guessing Game can win a SIGNED copy of either The Program by Suzanne Young or a SIGNED copy of United We Spy by Ally Carter. You pick! ;D
And that’s not all! If this giveaway reaches 2,500 entries, two winners will be picked!
Unlike the Cover Guessing Game that took place during the Summer Lovin’ Readathon, this Cover Guessing Game will last all month so you can take your time to have fun and guess the answers for extra points for the Rafflecopter. Also, this time, entries towards the Cover Guessing Game is not required, but you can earn extra points when you do them. You’ll have to get the book correct though or your entries will be disqualified.
The Rules + Hints:
- Only 2013 book covers are used in the puzzle.
- All the books used in the puzzle are all currently released.
- All the books used in the Cover Guessing Game are young adult books.
- At first, I wanted to give the prize to the first person who guessed all the above book covers correctly, but I figured that it would be unfair to people in different time zones. Therefore, I will allow Rafflecopter to pick the winner. However, the entry/person Rafflecopter picks must have all the correct answers to win or all their entries will be eliminated and Rafflecopter will randomly choose another entry/person. Sorry. ): But hey, all the Cover Guessing Game entries are not required. Do it at your own risk.
- Rafflecopter (sometimes) does not let you change your answer once you input your answer in. If you do want to change your answer for any book cover after submitting your old answer to the Rafflecopter, simply email me at whatisakelly(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject “Cover Guessing Game Answer” with your new book cover answer.
- If the Rafflecopter does not accept your answers, just email me your answers at whatisakelly(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject “Cover Guessing Game.”
Good luck everyone & let the guessing game begin! ;D
Terms & Conditions:
- This contest is open INTERNATIONALLY.
- The giveaway will run until November 6, 2013.
- You must be 18 years or older, or have parents’ permission to enter.
- All your entries will be disqualified if you pickup entries for something you haven’t done. (I had to do this for so many of my last giveaways, please don’t make me do this again.)
- If you only use ONE account to do all these tasks and enter under different names, they will still only constitute as ONE entry.
- If the winner does not respond to my e-mail within 48 hours, I will have to choose another winner.
- I am not responsible for any items lost in the mail.
That was super fun and not too hard, actually read most of the books. Thanks for a giveaway! :)
Yay, I’m glad that it was super fun plus not that hard. :D

Not sure if I could answer your giveaway (I’m not good on remembering stuff). Though I’d love to win it is an awesome giveaway :), Just wanted to congratulate you on your blogoversary. Has it only been a year? It feels like you’ve been blogging since ever XD. Great Job Kelly :D

Some were a bit tough! Still working on #4

#4 is the sequel to a book that came out one month earlier than it was supposed to. You can get an ARC of the book at BEA too.
Good luck Ashley! :D

I’ve got all pretty fast, except #8… I’ll look for it some other time.
Thanks for the giveaway! :]
Found it! I don’t know how I missed it…
I think I’ve got them all correctly. Well, I hope so! :] Thanks again!
I know how you feel! Omg, it was so easy! I still need #7. It’s probably just as easy. :L

Ha ha, I thought #8 was going to be REALLY easy because that was the best part of the cover to me. :P
#7 is the second book in a trilogy. ;D

Aww, sorry about that. I tried making it a bit easier. ):

I haven’t even finished the first one yet LOL. I’ll start this after I figure out the other. Screw school; this is so much more fun.

I’m glad it was fun for you Alex! :D

Overall i had fun!

And I’m sorry that it was kind of hard, I thought this one would be easier since all the books here has been released in stores already. o:
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
That was fun! It wasn’t that hard since I know all of the books. #8 was unexpected! lol. The cover belongs to one of my most anticipated this year but I didn’t really connect the two together. Nice one :)
Thanks for the giveaway! :)
Haraiah recently posted…Me and My Bookshelf (16): Last of my September Book Haul
LOL, I actually thought #8 was going to be one of the easiest ones since everyone was going crazy once that cover was released. I can see how it would be tricky though. ;P
And no problem! (:
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
It’s a really fun game! Some are pretty easy, some are harder, but in general it’s okay!
Still hunting for two covers that I seem to keep missing :/ But I’ll find them out, eventually!
I have to say, though, I didn’t quite understand this giveaway’s rules. By having all the correct answer, you mean the answers the winner gave all must be correct? (Say, I was chosen, and I only answered 10 but they’re all right answers, so I get to win?) not that I have to answer all 12 right?
Nitzan Schwarz recently posted…Top Ten Bookish Turn Offs Vlog
Oh, and just another thing – I want to applaud you for finding a high enough resolution for number 8! XD That one was super hard, because it’s one of the books I looked forward to the most this year, but the part you chose was super unnoticeable. Good job!
Nitzan Schwarz recently posted…Amazon List: Paperback Bargains (October 3)
Yep, as long as you answered the ones you answered, correctly, and you were chosen by the Rafflecopter, you win. You don’t have to do all 12 book covers. Sorry if the directions were confusing – I’ll fix it, eventually. :P
Ha ha, it was easy to find that one. Google images –> advanced search –> set the image size –> and yeah. I thought everyone would immediately get that one though; I would since I’ve stared at that cover for, like, 10 times already.
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
I stared at this cover a lot too, but frankly I only noticed that part thanks to this giveaway! I never quite realized there was a couple there. Just makes me like the cover even more (and you, for making me notice it) :>
Nitzan Schwarz recently posted…Being an Order Based Reader
It was medium.. It wasn’t to hard but wasn’t that easy! I know all these covers but at the same time the parts of the books you chose were hard to identify!
Jacklin Updegraft recently posted…Two post in one day…
Yeah, I didn’t want to take this too easy for others, so I chose parts of the book that were hard to identify. :P
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
I got everything but 2, 3, and 4 without looking at anything. I didn’t get #7 right away until I looked really hard at the picture, then I felt like an idiot for not realizing what it was! #3 was the hardest because I’ve never actually looked at the background of that book! I think I had the most trouble with those last 3 pics because I haven’t read anything else by said authors. The ones I’ve read or was looking forward to were easy!
Love me some cover challenges ;)
Jessi @ Auntie Spinelli Reads recently posted…Horror October
-gasp- You haven’t read anything by #10 yet? You have got to change that NOW Jessi! You’re missing out on SO much!
#11 is an awesome read too. ;D
As for #7, I was worried that one would be too easy, although I can see why it would also be hard. And don’t worry, you’re not an idiot, I picked the hardest part of the book to recognize. :P
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
It’s so frustrating because the cover will pop in my mind but I can’t remember the title. :( Thanks for the awesome giveaway! It’s fun! :D
Ha ha, I totally get you. I also hate it when that happens. :P
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
#8 has me stumped! Dx
#8 is the first book in a series by a debut author. You’ll be surprised you never figured it out when you finally figure it out. :P
Kelly recently posted…ARC Book Review: Wild Cards – Simone Elkeles
I still have two left to find. Some are really easy but then some are super hard. I don’t recall ever seeing these. D: But it’s really fun. :D I’ve abandoned my work to do this.

Kelly recently posted…Judge A Book By Its Signature: Just One Day – Gayle Forman
It was medium-I recognized a lot of the covers but couldn’t remember the names so that frustrated me! Thankfully it doesn’t end for a while so lets see if I’ll remember lol. I like the cover guessing game, it’s fun!
I’m glad the long time limit helped! (:
And ha ha, since most of you guys found Cover Guessing Games fun, I should do them more often. :D
Kelly recently posted…Judge A Book By Its Signature: Just One Day – Gayle Forman
GOSH these are so hard. I can not find #4 and #6. When the contest is over you will reveal the books right? It’s driving me mad and I need to know. I went through every month of books released this year so far and I can’t find them. Thanks for making me delay real life duties yet again. ;) I’m saying that in a nice way. (Sort of) Thank you so very much for the giveaway. I really, really want to own The Program (or I wouldn’t have used up a whole afternoon) I also wanted to say thanks for having all these amazing, wonderful giveaways so far this month.
#4 is the sequel to the first book in a trilogy and #6 is the sequel to the first book in a trilogy too.
Don’t worry, I’ll definitely reveal the books once this contest is over. I won’t ruin your life by making you wonder about the book covers forever. ;P
Ha ha, glad to do my duty. ;D<3
I sadly haven't read The Program yet, but it most be REALLY good since you really want to win it right?
And no problem - thank YOU for stopping by to celebrate my blogoversary! :D<3

I hope you had fun despite the easiness/hardness of it! :D

Well, guess who finally got them all? :D HOLLA. You’ve got a good eye, Kelly. For the two I was stuck on, I never even noticed what you put in the picture. They’re such tiny details, but then again, I’ve seen each of those cover all of one time. HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY. <3 Now I've got to get back to my homework LOL.

Ha ha, I tried making it as tricky as possible. I mean, such gorgeous covers need to be constantly stared at and I made you guys do exactly that. ;D
Good luck with all your homework!

It’s hard. I’m so bad at this kinda thing but it’s so much fun! :D
That was fun,. Still struggling with #4 and #8 :)
It’s hard! LOL! Strugglin with #8 and #10 :D
I can’t believe it took me a long time to figure out #8! I really want to read it and I have seen the cover sooo many times! I still can’t find #7 but this cover guessing game is really fun. Great idea! :)
These are always hard. At first, you see one of two you know right away but it just goes down hill from there.
But I actually did better this time then any other time.
I actually got 5 of them.
The part that kills me is when I know the book, I’ve seen the cover a billion time, but I can’t remember the title or writer. And it just kills me.
I think this was about hardish to medium. I could only get about half of them D: Haha.
I keep coming back because I feel like I know number seven but I swear, I can’t think of the book!
