Top Ten 2014 Releases I’m DYING To Read

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Top Ten 2014 Releases I’m DYING To Read.

So here’s my list in no particular order:

evertrue splitsecond erased

1. Evertrue by Brodi Ashton
I’m sure I’ve said this many times before, but I NEED Evertrue after the way Everbound ended. I need Evertrue in my life NOW.

2. Split Second by Kasie West
With the way Pivot Point ended, I NEED Split Second in my life NOW too. I’ll DIE to see what happens next.

3. Erased by Jennifer Rush
Altered was SO damn good. I need to know what happens next.

thewinnerscurse theassassinsblade dreamsofgodsandmonsters

4. The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
The cover of The Winner’s Curse is absolutely gorgeous. The whole slave concept sounds exactly like my type of book too.

5. The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah Maas
I’ve heard so much about the five Throne of Glass novellas and to have it come out in print (since I sadly don’t own a single eReader) is like a dream come true. I need to read these stories and see what the hype is about.

6. Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor
HOW WILL THIS END? Happy ending? Sad ending? Something in between? And lastly, PLEASE DON’T BREAK MY HEART.

7. What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick
After such a fantastic debut with My Life Next Door, Huntley Fitzpatrick is on my auto to-buy list. Let’s hope this one won’t disappoint!

8. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
I’ve been waiting for Isla and the Happily Ever After for years. May 2014 can’t come fast enough.

9. The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I need to know how the series ends! I hate that the release date for this one was pushed back. D:

landline10. Landline by Rainbow Rowell
Okay, so I haven’t read a Rainbow Rowell book yet. (I will change this sometime soon. -looks at my shelf where Eleanor & Park and Fangirl are sitting, waiting for me to open them.-) However, Landline sounds really good and something I’ll like, despite the plain cover.

The main one from your list that I’m dying to get my hands on is Isla and the Happily Ever After. I WANT IT SO BADLY!

Also I’ve never read a Rainbow Rowell book either so we’re in the same boat. I plan on reading them soon, I just haven’t had the chance to get round to it yet!

Yes, I SO need Split Second in my life and The Retribution of Mara Dyer and Evertrue and The Winner’s Curse.

Very excited for Landline but like you, I haven’t read a Rainbow Rowell book yet.

As the release date for Erased nears, I become more and more excited and it’s hit me that I enjoyed Altered more than I thought I did (which was a lot to begin with). Great list!

I’m super pumped about the Throne of Glass novellas being published together as well. I’m generally not a novella fan since I don’t like paying money for e-novellas, but that cover is all the argument I needed :D

I LOVE the new design, it’s so unbelievably pretty! I’ve already read the Throne of Glass novellas, but that won’t stop me from buying them in physical form too! I also can’t wait to read What I Thought Was True, I devoured Huntley Fitzpatrick’s previous book!

I don’t know that I have 10 but I’m really looking forward to Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo and Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. And Beloved by Alethea Kontis. And Death Sworn by Leah Cypess. So, I guess I almost have five :)

I’m so excited for Split Second and Dreams of Gods and Monsters – I think Taylor is going to end it epicly, but definitely include some heartbreak :)

The Mara Dyer release date! I finished book 2 & looked up book 3, thinking I’d heard Otober 2013 – and had a ‘whaaaaat?!’ moment when I realized I had to wait for exactly 1 year. Ugh I wish I could get an ARC somehow >..< Oh and I've also never read Rainbow Rowell! I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Anyway, great and varied list, Kelly!

The Retribution of Mara Dyer!!! UGH. I absolutely can’t wait for that. The ending of Evolution of Mara Dyer was so cruel, I hope that is not true because I can’t for the life of me think that *TOOOT* IS *TOOOOT*. :(
