Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

toptentuesday

Each week, The Broke and Bookish host a Top Ten Tuesday based on a certain bookish topic. Other bloggers are able to participate and post their own top ten list based on the topic.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me. I’m guessing this only counts for books that are released already. I won’t cheat by using ARCs guys. :P

So here’s my list in no particular order:

howtoleadalifeofcrime ifyoufindme theward

1. How To Lead A Life of Crime by Kirsten Miller
This book sounds really awesome and totally my style. I’ve also seen nothing but great things about it so far.

2. If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch
I’ve heard tons of great things about If You Find Me and I need to get my hands on it asap. Too bad I don’t have enough money to.

3. The Ward by Jordana Frankel
The cover of The Ward is amazing. It is also a thick book, which I like. I’m weird, I know.

splintered stolen ashes

4. Splintered by A.G. Howard
I love A.G. Howard’s version of Wonderland – it was so dark and unique! I need to get a copy of this one in my hands.

5. Stolen by Lucy Christopher
I absolutely, without a doubt love Stolen. It completely broke me when I read it the first time and I’ll love for it to do that to me all over again.

6. Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick
I’ve been meaning to read this one forever.

thissongwillsaveyourlife scarlet happy

7. This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
This is one of my favorite books this year. Too bad I don’t have a finished copy of it.

8. Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen
I’ve heard tons of great things about this one, including something about Robin Hood. That has gotten me intrigued. -winks-

9. This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith
I love the premise of this one and it looks extremely promising.

theboneseason10. The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
I’ve heard really great things about this one and I have an ARC I got from BEA still lying around, but I still want a finished copy of it. Hopefully this book will live up to its hype when I read it!

Awesome list! The Bone Season looks really cool, especially. I would also really love to read The Ward and Splintered – they both have such awesome covers.

Ha, you’re not a dirty cheater. ;D (Though, hey Santa, give me every 2014 ARC please. ;D)

I was so excited for How to Lead A Life A Crime when it came out because hello, thieves and criminals learning their trade in a school? SIGN ME UP. Splintered was originally on my list, but I remembered another book I desperately wanted. Lol. I’ve heard good things about this book. I actually haven’t attempted to read Alice in Wonderland retellings, so I want to read this one.
