Welcome to the 14 Days of Fictional Swooning Blog Hop, hosted by the lovely Jaime from Fiction Fare and Meg from Swoony Boys Podcast! What I’ll be chatting about today is the Fictional Boy You’d Fight Your BFF For. Will I scare you guys away if I say I knew the answer to this question without giving it a single thought?
The fictional boy I’ll definitely fight my BFF for – I frankly don’t care if I’ll have to get into a catfight with her (you’ll see later what I did there ;D) – is Frank freakin’ Porter, otherwise known as Frank Porter from Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson.
There are no words to describe how much I love and need Frank Porter in my life. Frank Porter is everything: he’s deadly scared of heights (like me!), has reddish brown hair with a sprinkle of freckles (yay for redheads!), and constantly tries to make the world a better place. (Are you swooning yet?) He was the sophomore and junior class president, has light brown eyes, and radiates authority. Most of all, he’s trustworthy and just gets me.
Frank may be too tall for me though: He’s six-two while I’m five-two. That’s a one foot difference in height and awkward if we stand next to one another. But I don’t care, I love him anyway. And I will fight anybody for him. Even my BFF.
In a well-ordered universe, Frank Porter will be real and he will be all mineee. (You have to read Since You’ve Been Gone to get this. Why haven’t you read Since You’ve Been Gone yet?!)
Now enough of me swooning over Frank Porter. (But how can I stop swooning over him?) Here’s an important piece of information: Each blog in this blog hop will have a few words from a quote. You can use these words to build two well known swoony quotes, one quote in the first week and another quote in the second week. You can enter these “hidden” words into the group rafflecopter for extra entries to win the prize.
My words are:
It will
Make sure you note that down and fill it in in the group Rafflecopter below!

I know who I would fight for, and that would be Edilio from the Gone series. But I have a hard time thinking I would have much opposition – he is a secondary character and doesn’t have like, the usual appeal. But enough appeal for me!

Frank sounds EXACTLY like one of my high school classmates (who I had a huge crush on and who was scared of me). I was lucky in having not one, but three tall, redheaded, quiet, smart boys in my AP classes senior year. *le swoons* I’m definitely putting that book on my list- thanks!
